Most people’s ideas or views of a community tend to be exceptionally skewed. Half the people who post on these forums didn’t even play WoW when it had “a sense of community” anyways. Classic is a very botched/half-baked version too. That sense of community people talk about includes the illusion of mystery too. This game is not a mystery anymore, it is nearly impossible to make it a mystery now. The internet has evolved since 2004, information is at the tips of your fingers whenever you want it for the vast majority who play WoW.
Community in most people’s eyes seems to equate to “seeing the same names” and stuff like that, I can’t think of anything more irrelevant in today’s time. I do not care if I see the same person ever again. I don’t care which guilds are the top on the servers I play on. I am never going to, I never did back in 2004 either. It is entirely irrelevant. Times really do change and it is best to move on and adapt or just be left behind.
The basic message behind the idea of it is if you said something silly, you’re going to attract people who will think you’re being silly.

My favorite part about claiming removing LFD from Wrath Classic is to keep a sense of community is the fact the Classic Community has quite literally been doing their best to make a LFD system with addons because of how bad the community is lol.
When somebody tells me to do something and i go do it and they still complain about me even after i did it, that’s being childish. Hence why i’ve called you that, along your continued shoe-horned use of “hypocrite”.

And I agreed with that when I stated that I missed the World of Warcraft of 2004 and 2005. I miss WoW from that time period, not Classic. I could go play Classic right now if I wanted to but it wouldn’t be the same, and never was going to be the same. The community right now is nonexistent and Classic does nothing to change that. You’re completely missing the point of my argument.
