Calm down.
It says initially. They clearly have things to iron out. They could delay it till TWW I’m sure.

The people that want the tank to do all of the pulling are going to have issues, they are just going to be standing around the entire time lol.
I knew it! I knew you guys were trying to heal them to death! I always suspected deep inside that was what I was seeing and now finally a healer admits it!!!
possibly but it could also be a good time to learn about talents for dropping threat. If they want to go that route or take the nice relax pace of the AI and let them do the pulls
i say on u , go to jal do not be mena on simplyred or u gonna be the rasone how come alans is bad , i say u need darnashes 2 gonna hit up ur tree

Will the tank just stop pulling if the player doesn’t pull for the group? Even with the “let the AI lead” option on?
They might pull too fast .
From my experience if AI Lead is on they will pull just not collect quest stuff. For example in the Gnoll one they won’t open the cages. also they won’t run that far ahead, so no pulling the entire dungeon
Botters will absolutely love this. Open up that limit sooner than later so that they can grind them 24 hours a day.
We will actively monitor the impact of this feature
The answer to this is bots.
You can run them while leveling.

How long does a run of say brackenhide take if you have AI lead on and aren’t vastly outgearing the instance?
Lol what? I was referring to the fact to the 10 dungeon limit per day.
You replied to my comment towards the other person. Thus the confusion. I get ya now.
Which is amusingly ironic, because MMORPGs are massive timesinks to begin with. Now we are sinking time into debating who’s time sink is some how more appropriate than someone else’s.
I don’t see them as massive time sinks, mostly because I don’t put that much effort into all of them. I’ve played four of them on and off over the years.
And I’m not debating who’s time sink is more appropriate. I’m just saying that if people broadened their gaming horizons, they’d have a better idea of the concept behind these follower dungeons.
I have an alt of almost EVERY SPEC lined up at level 60 for follower dungeons.
You get almost no XP from them. They aren’t an alternative to leveling.
I believe IU ran it in like 10 to 15 minutes With AI on. that was this one before I was geared up. I transferred to ptr then geared up. Since I am looking forward to these runs with my SO since she is learning I wanted to have the gear as accurate to her as possible
I’ve played four of them on and off over the years.
Your end game was always the forums, with your over 80 thousand posts, arguing with people and making peoples lives miserable, Rhielle. To be fair, MMO’s are built to be insane time sincs, so I don’t agree with you at all.
You get almost no XP from them. They aren’t an alternative to leveling.
If that’s true then Blizzard is already failing, and this will eventually be changed because people will complain about a bad design choice, and rightfully so.
she is learning
I think that’s one of the big appeals, that we’ll hopefully be able to get a lot of people into tanking and healing if they can learn outside of normal dungeons.
Running them for experience does nothing because the exp is intentionally neutered
When I tested on the early PTR, one dungeon fully rested yielded 1/3 of a level of XP while rested. Slower? Yes, but it’ll be more Xp than my healers ( and to a similar extent my glass cannons) have earned since legion without speccing into tanks for open world questing.
To be quite frank, 10-50 LFD leveling is comically fast, IMO. 3 dungeons per level is comparable to FFXIV’s dungeons which I ran with NPCs on every job. If you hate the very process of leveling, I’m sure that pace seems insulting, but the idea of getting to heal again and play mages and rogues again is exciting to me! Hell, even the communally expected pace for a tank is ridiculous now!
Less than I expected, so if you were to efficiently run these back to back playing your class well you’d be able to hit the cap in a little over 2 hours, but more realistically nearer 3-4.
I’m still amazed how many people seem to consider this content ruined because they can only spend 3-4 hours doing it per day. How much time do they have? Especially given I’m sure there are other things you’d want to do besides just these dungeons on top of that.
That’s a fair point, but I think people hear that there’s a limitation and then define the entire experience by that limitation.
10 dungeons isn’t very much, but if that’s per character then you realistically could run like 500 a day… or maybe not realistically.
If that’s true then Blizzard is already failing, and this will eventually be changed because people will complain about a bad design choice, and rightfully so.
While i respect your thoughs on this, I belive that the design was mainly for learning and flow of the story line not leveling. you get told to go to these dungeons and do this in the middle of quest line, now you can finish in the prope order. Now thats just my thoughts on it.
that we’ll hopefully be able to get a lot of people into tanking and healing
that is my hope for myself is it will actually help me learn to be a better tank
if that’s per character
It is not, IIRC.
10 dungeons isn’t very much
Is it not? People seem to consider 8 dungeons a week too many when it comes to mythic+ vault.
10 per day is, as discussed above, pushing 4 hours for most of the target audience.
Also it’s 10 per account per day, not per char.
