Follower dungeon XP watch

Maybe if there is ever an end to the go go go mentality. If not then hard pass.

I’ll take AI anytime.

The devs stated the follower dungeons were for learning the mechanics and gearing, I dont see where leveling is listed here lol

I think they’ve learned something from previous expansions when chaining dungeons was the way you played. It causes a ton of burnout.

There’s enough friction and variety between M+ dungeons and affixes that you don’t feel like you’re chaining them.

You are attempting to speak for an entire group, which you being a single person are incapable to do so. While many people in the community are toxic, there are tons of nice people too. The server you roll on is a large part, ive heard RP servers are generally filled with nice people.

yeah…that…exactly that. lol.
and I think THAT is the problem.
Ive noticed the players in here screaming the loudest “MUH MMO”, reminding us all hourly this is a MULTI player game, if you watch their comments a lot of time they are some of the ones you will avoid at all costs in game. lol.
Literally tossing fits about it being an MMO, then the worst behavior you can imagine in game in group content.

You are spot on…“we all work together”.
and my experience was once Legion was over that a lot more players would join the group and then play solely for themselves.
And then wonder why no one wants to play with them.

LIST YOUR OWN KEY.

PUT IN THE DESCRIPTION “GOING SLOW WANT TO STOP TO MINE AND PICK FLOWERS”.

FIND OTHER PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PLAY THE SAME WAY AND DO THAT.

Why is this so hard ? Everyone on this forum loves to complain about things that you are 100% able to fix yourself.

Thats the joke they keep telling in here that makes me laugh at and hate this forum simultaneously lmao.
Its an MMO, they’ll tell you this 17 times a day. But go find them in game and see how long you last before youre leaving the group with them lmao.
the most vocal here about it being an MMO are usually the last ones you want to be grouped with. Just watch their behavior in here. You can tell they carry that same attitude into the game

So… I’m sure lots of people will use them for leveling. :person_facepalming:

Thats like taking a car and using it as a paperweight and wondering why you are stuck having to walk everywhere. They shouldnt be mad when they are deliberately using things outside of their intended usage XD

I think the server/realm does have some bearing on it.
I notice when mine is less populated…dont know how thats a thing, but sometimes it seems to have a lot, othertimes the ream list shows ‘new players’ or something to that effect.
Feels like people are paying for transfers or just rolling a LOT of new characters, then there are lots more players and obviously the more there are, the more obnoxio’s show up.
That might have been what happened between Legion where I loved 5 mans and early BFA where it seemed like every third run was just ruined by the crap behavior.
I have ZERO tolerance, no patience for juvenile screaming and fit tossing so Im gone the first episode of it.
Wasnt too horrible until maybe right as Legion was about to end, then early BFA.
Thats when I noticed it was just more annoying than fun.

A lot of these folks won’t do anything they can’t queue for, so that’s all moot.

Completely irrelevant to me since I’ve never done and never will do M+. There is NOTHING in the game that I HATE more than M+ mainly because it took the go go go attitude that already somewhat existed amd made 1000x worse.

Also attitudes like yours is exactly why I prefer AI.

Like many other things in the game. There is no right way vs wrong when you are a solo player.

Theres nothing stopping us from farming ore and herb nodes to 70 either. lol.
which makes it entirely laughable that ANYONE would be here railing on about AI dungeons offering the same thing. :+1:

Then they cant figure out why no one wants to play with them. lol.
The players you want to play with arent here railing every day against solo players. Theyre playing the game

No, expecting the solo mode follower dungeons to reward you the same amount of exp as LFD is a wrong view, at least for now given the devs directly stated that the follower dungeons are for learning mechanics and gearing (they did not list leveling as an intended use)

Another great comparison would be a single person eating soup with a fork, and complaining the fork isnt catching the broth xD

Then node farming experience should be removed or drastically reduced. lol
If I can level faster playing SOLO, farming ore nodes gaining X levels per hour, then the same approx. experience should be given in ANY solo content Im doing.

But then, Ive never understood the excessive experience given for nodes in the first place. Maybe it should be reduced if we’re even trying to make sense of this joke

I don’t hate people trying to think outside the box. Why must we try to break everything new that comes out? Sure, PTR is the place to work out bugs. This mode of gameplay is intended to help train new players as well as see what new dungeons have for mechanics and pathing for Mythic+ runs.

soon all dungeons will be follower dungeon capable;
FFXIV implemented this and it’s AWESOME,
no more toxic pugs, get to level my alts in dungeons only with no wait, no toxic groups, no afk’ers, no vile attacks or bad players. Giddy with anticipation

I’d gladly transfer to try another, but I’m stuck on a ghost town server unless I pay 80 bucks to get my characters off of it. Blizzard is too greedy on this, so it’s not an option. I shouldn’t have to pay 80 bucks to make their game viable to play in. It’s their job to provide a viable playing experience.
