Okay i don’t know if you’re an alt account of Mafic (feels like it given the writing style and necro) or not but this butterring up style of puff talk y’all do to each other is very creepy.
Once you get the quest done (10 mins or so it seems) you can fly unless it’s storming which seems to be something you have to opt in to when going to the isle aka hard mode

i mean as someone who is/was against pathfinder…this is the best you’re probably gonna get. only took me me about…i want to say leveling to 80 (12 hours casual) and +4-6 extra hours to unlock flying.

It’s just one zone. It’s not the end of the world.
It’s an optional mini-zone for mog and catchup gear, it’s not a major story zone like Zaralek or Emerald Dream were.
You know if its such a big deal, just do it. Lets go further and remove Mounts that don’t make sense to be ground mounts, specifically to encourage those that will die on this hill, to do so.
Do it Blizzard, you already have very little reputation to lose.

Maybe they are trying to appeal to a broad spectrum of players? But yeah if you prefer ground mounts you can still use the ground mounts and let other people fly.

- Timeless isle
- Isle of thunder
- Molten front
- Argus
- Silvermoon city
- Eversong woods
- Ghostlands
- Exodar
- Azuremyst isle
- Bloodmyst isle
- The darkmoon faire/island
- Several legion class halls
- The maw
- Korthia
- Orbibos
- most instanced content (dungeons, raids, battlegrounds, arenas)
