Hey Blizzard…you realize that you released flying…when you released a bunch of other content that does not allow flying…
So we never really get to use it. The only time I use it, is to fly to dungeons for Mythic +. There was even a time I started to run on my ground mount and totally forgot I had it.
That is because all of the new content is in areas that do not allow flying…like the Maw and Korthia. New content like the new dungeon out in the middle of no where, where only a flight path gets you to it, the new raid located in a zone that does not allow flying, new covenant assaults’ that are located in the MAW and the new (small) zone of Korthia, that does not allow flying.
All of the new content centered around patch 9.1 does not allow flying and we barely see it (at times and some worse than others)
You could have released flying during the 8 month content drought and players would have loved it, since we still used all those zones. Or picked a better time during this expansion, probably rather sooner than later.
I would think most times, players are using it for dungeons like I am, since we are all out in new parts doing new content in a sense.
GJ Blizzard. Someone should post an office full of monkeys and that would apply to your office Blizzard.
It gives little benefit to characters who are in new zones mostly. It does help if we’re doing callings in old zones maybe, but by far the biggest benefit is it makes life so much easier for our alts who can now skip over the terrain in the four covenant zones.
if you can’t get to a raid entrance without flying or without running to the raid entrance together as a party by communicating beforehand if it’s hard to get to without pulling aggro, you shouldn’t be raiding.
They could not add flying, because if you could fly in korthia it would show how freaking small the area is. Korthia is like pathetically small, and this is coming from someone who enjoys the zone.
Blizzard dislike flying. they regret implementing it at all and have said so on a few occasions. Now its just a little treat we get for content that is essentially no longer relevant.
Yeah, and I was really hoping Daddy Blizz would do the same thing this time. In fact, believing that was the only thing that brought me back for 9.1. Now I’ll see how many alts I can level in the month I just added (yea token) and then I’ll probably go back to FFXIV.
Which is why WoW is no longer relevant to me. I paid my token, I’ll see what I can get done in the 13 days I have left, then most likely it’s back to FFXIV. It’s sad that I’d rather pay real money to Square than play WoW FOR FREE using a token.
