So it isn’t mandatory.
I am a bit confused on the wording. Is it saying that WoD and Legion flying will be automatically unlocked at level 30 with expert flying?
I have a suggestion for PF (I know this has been discussed and complained about ad nauseum, but this is just my two cents).
Part 1: Exploration, Loremaster, Honored rep. Flying is then immediately enabled in zones available at launch (no waiting for part 2).
Part 2: Exploration, Honored rep. Flying is enabled for zones added in content patches. (Not sure if Loremaster exists for them)
Although I have Pathfinder for WoD and Legion, this is a big step in the right direction. Thank you.
It’s not mandatory. It’s only mandatory because you made that up in your head. I’ve said time and time again you have a choice to use a ground mount. If you don’t that’s on you.
people haven’t just done this already?
huh…
You’ve proven in this thread and others you have no grasp of this topic so I won’t be replying to you anymore.
So you’re saying that seeing races they didn’t have the option to roll originally serves some purpose in understanding what?
I had to spend about 200k for draenor flying to buy rep tokens.
You’re the one living in their own world and not the world of warcraft. Flying was perfectly fine when we could get it right at max level. It would ONLY benefit the game if we went back to that model.
The current situation.
Just give us flight everywhere bruh.
I think they should of added all reps to the buff.
The xp covered any race and there are a lot of people who have either all the allied races or their rep requirements met . So let us grind out those old rep rewards and cheevos during this time also.
That would be like admitting that pathfinder was a mistake, a costly mistake that the game may never recover from.
They don’t admit to making mistakes.
The concept of Pathfinder doesn’t bug me. You either grind gold to purchase or do the busy work.
It’s the timegating surrounding pathfinder that gets me.
I hit cap in patch X.0, I can either outright buy flying or do the required checklist.
Funny how people pretend flying is optional yet they apparently can’t play without it.
People have a variety of reasons for posting on the forum. I’m sure you understand that concept, given your input on this topic. I’ll leave it at that.
but that would undermine their claims that no one will experience the content or that we ran thru it all and now theres nothing left to explore
yeah well by holding flight hostage behind the requirements Blizzard is in fact encouraging people to burn thru it all quickly in order to obtain flight and at which point it has basically been rendered largely obsolete upon completion
Blizzard wants to know why players are complaining about the lack of content? its real simple you dangled a carrot in front of them and they rushed as fast as possible to get it but once they did the carrot was dried out and moldy which meant their whole effort was ruined in the attempt to reach it
flying around and discovering new things actually makes the content more entertaining yet Blizzard is somehow convinced that the content is better and more immersive when it takes longer to reach it
that’s not immersion its tedious and boring and nothing but the laziest route the creators are taking just to artificially stretch the lackluster content as far as possible
I called it, it was the only reasonable way to handle flying in older expansion with squish and leveling changes coming in SL
Grats to those who dont have it
Finish up BFA if you havent and you will be all caught up moving forward.
It is possible there are more changes on the horizon as there are a lot of moving parts when it comes to a game wide squish. You have to adjust gold sinks and sources of gold for the increased leveling speed as well. Then there is the issue you highlighted about new players being grounded throughout all of BFA content.
Lots of decisions and changes will have to be made.
It’s a game. Being able to play without it doesn’t mean people have to settle without it if they want to play with it.
It’s still optional if you don’t want to play with flying.
