Pathfinder this time around is silly. We’ve been flying since day one of DF. If some would like to do it slower just let them.

If people don’t like the current content, why are they worried about flying in it?
Yeah, but designers also spent hours of work creating scenery, roads, and ruins to be seen. And then people would just fly right over without a second thought.
I hate to break it to you, but people already can do that with Dragonriding if they are able to use it.

So… when you hate all the open world content in DF, then why do you feel the need to fly around that much in the zones? Doesn’t make much sense.

I don’t hate the world content itself, I hate dragonriding because it makes me feel sick. I wanted to do the world content with regular flying once they added it. Now I’m forced to either drag myself around on a ground mount (which zones aren’t designed for) or make myself feel physically unwell and use dragonriding in order to unlock the only type of flying that doesn’t make feel like throwing up.

See, M+ dungeons require you get to them. Without flying, then how do you get there?

Well, I don’t think that flying for maybe 2 minutes to get somewhere is a big deal. Besides a lot of the M+ dungeons are in the old world and not even in the Dragon Isles.
This seems like a silly argument to make when they gave us flying via DR in day 1. (Which also makes it even more ridiculous that they’re restricting old flying)

I think next expansion everyone should be forced to rp walk on foot everywhere in the new areas. Lets see how these anti fliers like it if they have to rp walk from zone to zone as they quest going 0.05% movement speed.

I have honestly started to believe that the reason Ion and Co hate flying so much is because it’s something they didn’t create. They embrace Dragonriding because it’s something they created, old flying, they didn’t so they want to kill it.

If they ran a poll on the question of “would you like to be able to purchase flying from a trainer again?” I’m guessing most players would vote “yes”

Wonder what the current inflation would be for the 5000g from TBC flying cost.
I’m guessing most players would complain that Blizzard is trying to sell more tokens.

I am okay with them going on record.
But I caution that they choose wisely. I am old enough to remember the ripcord with the covenants and how those that defended not pulling the ripcord looked silly when it happened!
