hi, so I made a death knight and went through the questline. ( I forgot how much fun this is. ) got to the end where you report to stormwind, and I don’t have the mount. Is it still going on?

I think this is my answer. I did it in Classic. Others were doing it too for the mount,. Im assuming this only works in retail, and not classic.

That’s odd, I know my retail friend was able to level a dk for the mount a couple days ago.
Uh, no, you’re supposed to level a DK up through a certain quest in Classic. Then you should have access to the mount in Retail. Seems like a reasonable question. I’m also wondering how long does it take to get to the quest?
DKs never started with the flying mount. Only the epic riding ground mount
The questline took a few hours. Ok so I looked in retail, and the mount is there. I just assumed you would get the mount in classic, as that is where the questline is.

Yes. You get nothing to use in Classic, just a Retail mount.
Nah blizz just wanted retailers to get a reward for making classic players que longer. Congrats on the mount.
you level it in classic and get the mount in retail, there is no classic mount
It’s super easy to get the mount. It’s just simply create a new dk and n wrath classic and complete the starter zone. This can be done in just a hour or so depends on how many others are there doing it as well.
Took me about 90 minutes but the start area was slammed and I was trying to cook dinner at the same time.

Right but its a retail mount so retail people would be the best support
Retail players can’t make a character on a realm with queues, because realms with queues are locked to new character creation. So this promotion is a non-issue for the queue concern.
