This quest is so buggy, unable to hit some flowers as you will fall straight through, when I got to the second level where they are throwing spears and it stuns you I fell straight through the flower and landed on the island killing me and have to run back and rez and the flower will count a jump even if you are almost a foot away from it. Please fix this inconsistent world quest blizz.

I came to make this post. Someone at Blizz needs to take a look at this. This quest is actually kind of fun even, but the implementation is just amateur hour.

I do agree, it is fun and it’s much better than the jellies, but the consistency of hitting the flowers is just so bad

Worst case scenario, find someone who has the best luck in the game and have them do it, my husband just did it for me first try XP
I tried this several time on my priest. I have landed right in the middle of the flower and still have fallen though.

Ditto. Retried it enough to attempt to hit every single part of the flower or edge and couldn’t even get the first flower to trigger. Frustratingly buggy.

also make sure you hit the last flower other wise it wont complete… xD
Came for Same Reason. Doing this quest on my main and you fall right through middle of some flowers. Needs to be fixed.

Another one of those perfect-ping quests. Any glitch and you’re doomed.
This is a quest I won’t be doing.
What is the point of doing the hardest difficulty? Is there an achv or something? Been looking for the answer for a while and can’t find anything.
There is an achievement for it, it’s called ‘Breaking the Stratus Fear’ It’s just for completion of the Quests achievements in Shadowlands, there is another one for just doing all the basic flight school ones called ‘Flight School Graduate’. Hopefully this answers your question.

Oh sad to see this is still an old problem - not able to complete this quest either… I can’t turn in ‘Mysterious Soul Mirror’ either since its at the top of this

Same issue, the mechanics seem completely off. Will miss a flower and get a jump followed by going right through the middle of another one. Blizzard, please fix this nonsense.

I was able to do this. Server is a mite slow to get updated position data from each character. I just use mouse to steer/look around and do a bit of wiggle as I fall toward the next flower. For some reason wiggling forces the server to get updated location data and is far less likely to cause you to fall through flower.
Poor design IMO but not impossible

Honestly, I never fail at this quest. Never. Because I aim for the petals, NOT for the center of the flower. Aim for the petals, about halfway between the center and the ends. If you can’t make the next jump, bounce on the same flower but the closer petals. Trust me, it works fine.
