I flew out last night just fine. (And in) Is there something that triggers this?
I honestly didn’t know people went there anymore after how bad they made it, then when they doubled down on it but interesting.

We kinda had to to complete the main story campaign.
Also need it to unlock regular flying. I had this part done on my priest long time ago.
I had to take my druid there cuz campaign progress is NOT account wide.
And my game still crashes when i fly in on my mount from the azure entrance and western plains entrance but not in the eastern plains entrance for some reason
There are quite a few posts in the bug report forum about this. I picked one randomly and added my comment to it. The devs aren’t looking for bugs here, they’re looking in the bug report forum. I thought I had seen something where the devs had acknowledged this issue, but I can’t find it now.

Well its not my addons doing it…just check again …no FP out of Cavern …and I am not resetting my dang UI again …that all they ever say when its their fault…

Yeah, it’s kind of hard to tell without knowing an addon list. Even a ‘UI package’ addon like elvui (not saying it’s the culprit though) can have map functions that may not even be in use… but could still be causing problems.
I just flew an alt of mine that has never been to Zaralek to loamm through the tunnel. No quests involved. Got to the flight point still with a green ! … and opened up the flight paths, clicked into valdrakken, and no problems.
So, my druid who did the loamm stuff is fine, my hunter which did none of it up until 5 minutes ago is fine, and my paladin who did very little in there months back, is also fine.
But none of your characters are working of either some or no progression of niffen?
Edit: the bug report forum thread is interesting…

Yeah, I still have this issue on at least two of my characters. Others I’ve taken down there for turn-ins have all their flight paths like normal. I cannot find anything that stands out as a cause for the difference between characters.

Those two characters, are they brand new alts? Or were they ones you played significantly into the niffen zone?

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. The problem is that even if it’s due to Blizzard making some updates to the code, they’ll still give the canned ‘it’s an addon problem’ response and not do any more work to fix it, since they consider it to not be their problem to solve.

How about that one of my horde alts I took down to the Cavern and on that character I can see the FP out too the surface…all my alts run same addons this character my main does.

More like a month. I reported the bug on November 20th. It might even be longer than that.
