Flight Points out of Caverns still Broke

Those two characters, are they brand new alts? Or were they ones you played significantly into the niffen zone?

The two broken ones have done the zone completely, the others are somewhere along the questlines.

Here we are two weeks so far and still can’t fly out of the Caverns

More like a month. I reported the bug on November 20th. It might even be longer than that.

It’s been at least since the patch dropped.

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. The problem is that even if it’s due to Blizzard making some updates to the code, they’ll still give the canned ‘it’s an addon problem’ response and not do any more work to fix it, since they consider it to not be their problem to solve.

I hate that this is true, because I get the same broken flight paths on a clean install. The fact that I have to keep a clean install around just to debunk all the “oh it’s addons lol” nonsense is dumb. It’s not us, it’s them.

Interesting. Your situation suggests addons are less likely to be involved.

This may sound weird, but, if you wander manually over to loamm, open your map (not the flight person though) try and click into the dragon isles and valdrakken… can you see the flight point in valdrakken?

If so…

Click the loamm flight point, and try to click into the dragon isles, can you see any flight points at all? And if you try to click into valdrakken, does anything change?

If the OP is having the same issue as me, I click on the corner and no FP appears on the DI map.

That sounds like a UI issue. The connecting flight points are definitely there on my map.

This happened to me a few days ago on this toon. I was not able to see any flight paths from the Caverns flight master in the niffen town nor at the SW FlightPath. I ultimately used a hearth which is no biggie, but seemed odd.

That said, when I’ve used a FP outta the caverns it’s usually resulted in a bug where I get thrown off my mount and gal outside of bounds. Very odd.

Man. I take great pleasure in dragon flying the tunnels. My best time for the one close to Valdrakken is 11 seconds.

I haven’t even been bothering picking up the flight points in DF

That is fine for you …I don’t use my Dragons anymore I hate flying with them…I use my Love Rocket…they need to fix it …its not my addon’s cause not all my characters are having this issue…its not my computer or game either since its not all my characters having the issue…its Blizzard issue…

I said its not my addon’s …not all my characters are effected by this bug…all my characters use the same dang addon’s…

I think it has something to do with the emerald dream because I have no issues with the ZC flight points except my two toons that have done the dream quest line they have to hearth out of ZC or fly themselves since their FP’s out of the caverns have vanished.

I too have done all the UI resets and it still persists

Ya and idk about anyone else but the location of the archway to the Emerald Dream on the Map is always flashing for me now too.

My was computer error it finally worked out after the network problem was fixed,just weird stuff.

Are they broken, or is it just like the portal to Emerald Dream where you can port in, but there’s no port out?

There is a port out (of the Dream) you just have to fly to the Verdant Landing, the easternmost flight path.
As for the FPs out of the caverns, I also cannot see them any longer.

What bug? So far you haven’t explained anything in more detail than “it’s broke”

• Does the game crash when you try to fly out?
• Does the taxi despawn in the tunnel on the way out?
• Do you just get an error message trying to use the fp?
• Something else?

If you try to fly out of ZC use the flight master when you move over to the dragon isles map all the FP’s are missing so you can’t use the flight master to get out.

No error no crashes just nothing there but a blank map.

Has to be some sort of bug since it still persist after a full UI reset and clean install

This thread has taught me that I’m really glad my FPs have always worked out of ZC.

Hilariously, I can make my flight paths disappear from any flight master on the Isles. Just visit the Zaralek portion of the flight map, then pop back out to the Isles and they’re gone. Only for the two that are broken, of course. The rest function like normal.
