Probably a year again. They did it once in BFA so wouldn’t surprise me if they held flying hostage for that same amount of time.

The devs HATE flying and it shows.

We’ll still have flight in every other place.

I personally like it when everyone is grounded. Not only does it populate the world (I see more people because they can’t fly) it gives us a good reason to show off our ground mounts without negative consequence.

I don’t know why people hate this system. When everyone is grounded it makes things way more fun especially for people that pvp.

Yup, they’ve kept the pathfinder flying requirement for BFA zones so they obviously have no intention of removing it permanently.

I’m saying initially when the xpac drops there is arguably the most amount of players online at the same time and the fact that everyone has to use ground mounts makes the world feel a lot more alive which I like.

It does lose it’s magic after a while though which is why I wouldn’t want it to stay that way forever.

You’re seeing more because it is at the start of an expansion. Cataclysm wasn’t this empty void of people. You still have to land and do stuff. Not saying I want flying right off the bat in Cata but good gosh flying isn’t what empties the world

I have dragons and horses and stuff. I can just imagine how many mailboxes someone could block mounting an entire zone!
