The same amount of players would be on even with flying. You’d still see everyone because quest objectives are the same for everyone and the hub is the same for everyone.
Why?

Yeah but I’m not going to. Especially now that you’re throwing a fit over it. Your opinion is garbage and you should feel bad.
Gear trivializes content WAY more than flying ever could.
Once you’ve traveled the same path on the ground more than once there’s no reason to keep us grounded.
It sucks but probably yeah
Bull. Used to be, they designed the game with flying in mind. Netherstorm, Blade’s Edge, Storm Peaks, Icecrown… They were all designed with flying in mind, from the ground up. Flying enhances their content, not trivializes it.
You have been warned.
I came to this thread, knowing you’d be here, and here you are.
+1. Didn’t disappoint.
Why?
Because WM is tied to the exp buff and having to choose between having an exp buff or having flying while leveling would be silly.
If they somehow separated the exp buff from WM and made it strictly a pvp toggle then I would totally be okay with no flying enabled.

I guess we just have a difference of opinion. I really like experiencing the new xpac without everyone zipping around in the air. Just feels better to me
Gear doesn’t allow the player to ascend and travel at 310% speed over all content and players.

Does the baby need his bottle?
Designing the map with flying in mind doesn’t mean it doesn’t trivialize the content players are flying over simply because they have the gold for it. There aren’t mounted sky battles happening.

It makes perfect sense. You shouldn’t have an xp buff AND flying. Seems a little greedy.

I like the old way much better.

I mean I don’t agree with that at all so I guess that’s that lol.
Wouldn’t know, I don’t have kids. You should check the mirror though. Bah dum tiss.
And unless you turn war mode on, there aren’t any player battles on the ground, either.
But, yes, I agree that they should definitely make airborne combat a thing. That would be badass.

We’re talking about trivializing content and now you’re about speed? Get your story straight first.
Also you don’t fly over content. You land in order to do content. Flying doesn’t skip anything.
I mean I don’t agree with that at all so I guess that’s that
So you want your buff and flying. Gotcha.

He’s talking about the mobs people literally ride past, because they know there’s no way the mobs can catch them, much less hurt them, while they are on their way to the next world quest on the map.
So you want your buff and flying. Gotcha.
I mean who doesn’t want that? We’re kinda getting off topic here but is there anyone who wouldn’t want to have an exp buff while also being able to fly while leveling?
Not having flying feels AWFUL. The worst part of leveling an alt is getting high enough to be able to fly again. One of my currently most hated aspects of the game is restrictions on flight. There is no valid reason for it at all.

Just wait until you experience the maw… no mounts at all except for a temp one from killing certain mobs and an “earned” mount by doing a high enough level torghast.
