Please include Flex Raiding from the start of MoP. It was originally included during Siege but it would be a life line to so many guilds to have it in from the start.
So many are stuck in that spot where they have a roster greater than 10 but not up to 25 and end up just trying to field two ten mans or other clunky solutions.

flex raiding didnt start until the end of mop. Doubtful it would go in any earlier if at all.
Agree. the casual guilds have struggled in Cata and we really need this.
But based on the decisions so far I certainly wouldn’t hold my breath. Devs current approach is pandering to the elitists and the GDKP industry they don’t seem to care about casuals.

This would massively help the guilds moving over from SoD be able to actually stay together with flex-raiding, otherwise it will result in forcing people too find other guilds / pug runs.
Theres a reason flex raiding became the norm after it was added at the end of MoP to SoO

there hasn’t been any flex raiding testing. There is no way it would be implemented until at least phase 2 which is 6+ months away at least.
They can’t make LFR work and you want them to put in the very significant effort it would require to balance all the raids on multiple difficulties with flex?
The last difficulty was never flex so as long as heroic isnt flex until we get mythic I wouldnt mind normal being flex as the last difficulty tuning is important to me for the fun I have in it.
Still feels unlikely we get it as we would need a good amount of tuning to make it feels decent. But it’s not something impossible I feel in Soo.

Exactly my thoughts and experience. Casual guilds have been faltering, the most difficult boss for the entirety of Cata classic has been the roster boss.
Agreed. I hadn’t even thought how it would help SoD guilds transition over, even more reason to include it.
You say that, but they added Legion style transmog to the very beginning of Cataclysm Classic.

+1 OP.
Especially if there’s no LFR. The hardest part about raiding for me has always been finding the exactly 9 or exactly 24 other people to do it with. I didn’t start raiding in retail till MoP and cross realm raiding.
To be fair, they could just go with the SE fix for MoP. In that the raid is tuned for 10/25, but you could have up to 40 in the run regardless. Loot will be a lot more sparce, but I guess that is the price you pay for taking extra people.
I can’t imagine that they would rework all the fights to retrofit flex onto normal.
I heavily dislike that model for the last difficulty to be honest as difficulties are made with tuning in mind and made to be engaging for a certain amount of player. Moreover reading feedback it feels really weird to want to pug or inflate your group early on just to clear, I really don’t like that concept moreover I don’t think it’s the same difficulty at all and difficulty should still be relevant in term of power progression else gear is meaningless. The good thing about flex is it at least try to tune the difficulty around the amount of players that you have so it tries to be the same difficulty.
