I’ve been playing mmorpgs for nearly 24 years. I can count the number of good GMs/guild leadership on 1 hand.
People have no stake in a guild. GMs and officers make decisions without talking to members. Who gets Val’anyr? It’s an officer, decided by officers. It can be the correct decision, but to your members it feels like they are along for a ride and you’re driving.
Then you’re surprised when they leave easily.
