From the notes I’ve read the raid will be lower than normal difficulty. With the dwindling population, could we just possibly make flex raid available in Normal mode and Heroic? We did this in OG WoD, I’m not sure why we can’t have this sooner rather than later. Waiting to fill raids suck, when we can just go with 24 or less. TY
My guess is that this has to do with how it is coded for LFR, and making changes as you’re asking for would require significant enough development resources that there’s no way anyone in a position to authorize such resources would view the data and determine that that there would be a worthwhile business case to justify doing so.

Flex raid was separate from LFR in OG.
Yeah, I guess that doesn’t make much sense then, does it?

we will be lucky of the raid is not a completely broken mess like TOT without asking them to make any changes.
Yea I mean devs are pretty busy, but hear me out. 25 man raid, 4% cut in Raid DMG, Boss DMG, and Loot (min -1 piece of loot) per person missing up to lets say a maximum of 10 slots. So the N or H raid would be technically doable by 15 folks with 50% less damage and loot. From here you can flex up to 25 man for max rewards. ![]()
Highly, highly unlikely, but I think normal having flex numbers would be ideal. Would be great for our group, because it’s not ideal for two, three, four players to have to sit.
Unfortunately I don’t see that happening. Just too many things pointing to Blizz pushing out content that is in less than optimal shape.
Man, I forgot about 10 man. I would do -16.7% boss/raid damage (constant -1 loot, 10 man loot is already very punishing) per person missing up to 3 down. Then +5% boss/raid damage per person up to 12 up, with +1 loot when 12 is reached.
12 man +10%boss/raid damage +1 Extra loot
11 man +5%boss/raid damage +0 extra loot
10 man No change
9 man -16.7%boss/raid damage -1 piece of loot
8 man -33.4%boss/raid damage -1 piece of loot
7 man and below -50%boss/raid damage -1 piece of loot
