Fleshcraft

Has anyone else noticed if you Fleshcraft too early in Arena it drops your shield to half?

Kind of wondering if this is intended or if it’s a bug.

It gets normalized now when gates open. My understanding is it drops to a value that you would of gotten with no extra buffs.

Druids for example used to shift to bear with a conduit and talent that each gives them more hp and they would get a gigantic shield. Now it normalizes when gates open so the only way for them to get the giant shield is to flesh craft after gates open

love how druids still get to take advantage of a bigger fleshcraft btw lol change did nothing.

gotta do it after the gates open for max shield.

Am I crazy or does it work as long as thr fleshcrsft channel is still ticking for even .1s after the gates open?

Like, it’s a 3second channel and if you start it with 2.9s until gates open you’ll still get full value? Its something I’ve noticed but haven’t bothered to confirm

don’t you DARE tell me blizzard didn’t test something again. That’s not in their blood to release untested content

Haha, ive been fleshing at 2 secs. Seems to work.

Every class can still?

You just have to take advantage of it after the gates open.

It’s intended. This is to stop people doing things like dp/bearform/rally and battlemaster into fleshcraft, then taking the trinkets off and having an extra 10-20k on the shield.

This DOES work and is fine and intended. The biggest issue was using trinkets/cds to get a GIANT shield with ~1minute left in the gates, and then basically having stuff OFF cd giving necrolords a pretty big advantage for the first minute of the game.

Now, you can still do that, but at the expense of your cooldowns.
