Flasks sell for 6 gold on AH

Thanks for ruining any sort of gold making ability blizz. Maybe I should just go engineering like every other player in WotLK classic so at least I get some rocket speed

Potions are what sell this expansion.

Not really health or mana pots, but the other ones do.

Sounds like you have a plan. Don’t worry about gold and go and have some fun!

Potion of speed is 5g each, you can transmute gems. Outside of professions dailies gives about 20g each. Making gold is easy this xpac.

Nothing gives me more pleasure in a BG than watching the EFC use their rocket boots to start running away and then hitting them with a death grip to make them run the opposite way.

Or when they try to jump off the GY with the parachute and I death grip them back to me, wasting their boots and chute.

Endless enjoyment.

More on topic though …

This isn’t new news. If it’s such a hindrance to you, drop it and pick up mining and sell the ore/herbs you pick instead of complaining.

You’ll make astronomically more gold than almost any trade skill (at the moment).

Uh, Blizzard isn’t killing the flask market friendo, I think you can blame that on cheap herbs.

who can we blame cheap herbs on

Herbalists is my guess.

The correct answer is actually inscriptionist

inscription mills herbs so the quantity of herbs needed to expand per server.

Hence the massive influx of droods with herbalism.

So, wouldn’t this increase the price of herbs instead of making them cheap? Maybe I’m just confused.

Well on one end you have loot boxes all over the quests in the game and 2 more handed out with every dungeon run. On the other end you have rampant botting. End result is a totally wrecked economy. It won’t be long before there’s no reason for you to farm anything because gold is worth so little you may as well just buy a bit here and there. Blizzard hates this but they are the ones that let the economy go down the toilet in the first place and don’t do anything about the botting problem. Why should normal legitimate players be the ONLY ones to suffer?

Sorry you can’t sell a flask for 100g anymore.

Saronite shuffle, dailies, do Northrend Loremaster (granted its a one time thing), flip the AH, farm herbs for the inscribes, do inscribe and gamble cards for decks, JC, enchanting, farm rocks, fish, sell time gated items like Titansteel and Spices.

There are many ways to make gold. Thank god Alchs can’t gouge the hell out of the entire playerbase for the 3rd game in a row. Yall had yalls fun with Classic Flasks and Haste/Destro pots.

We don’t feel bad that you can’t take thousands of gold from us every week.

Just sell them for 1911g11s11c bid and 4g99s99c buyout like i do??

bots they won’t ban?

Uncut gems go for anywhere from 2x to 5x what the cut versions go for.

Can I blame Blizzard instead of stupid players, too?

6x2= 12. So you’re making at least 12g per craft. If you’re an elixir master you could get up to 8 per craft. The money is there, it just isn’t what you want it to be. Other posters are right though, potion of speed as a potion master is where the money tends to be (though the proc rate for potions seems really low).

Good ? I’m glad.

Scribe. It’s scribe.

I find it interesting how blizzard nerfs raw gold farms, and releases free loot boxes that devalue alchemy, so what are people supposed to do for gold? Let me guess, quest, right? They sure do love making us quest.
