Flamelash was first server to die, Skeram is next

People are quitting left and right. No one is leveling anymore. Guilds are losing several members a week and struggle to replace them simply because there is no one to replace them with.

It is a common occurrence to have more Horde than Ally in Ironforge and Stormwind. Horde PvP groups have more people in them than there are Alliance in the zone. Alliance are scared to flag up and help each other because they know they will get endlessly camped for the next hour or be forced to afk until their flag goes away. Getting corpse camped by 40 people for 20 minutes every time you try to do something isn’t “PvP.”

The economy is starting to get really bad, certain materials are always sold out because no one can farm them yet everyone needs them. People can’t farm in the open world and cant get to a lot of the dungeons. Barely anyone is even trying to run dungeons anymore, you can sit there for hours looking for groups for even popular endgame dungeons and people say “only if you can summon right outside” because they don’t want to spend 45 minutes corpse running to get there.

People are trying to stay positive but even a lot of those people are leveling on other servers at the moment. People are saying, “we will make characters on x server and transfer our mains here eventually.” Most players are logging in once a week (or even every 2 weeks for guilds on mon/tues schedule). The ironforge.pro server ratio is actually way off because of this, since 50% of the Alliance counted on it don’t actually play the game for more than 2 hours a week. The actual ratio is probably worse than 9:1 now.

The worst part is the server started off 55H:45A and it was actually manageable until, for whatever reason, Blizzard allowed both factions to transfer off. Half the Alliance transferred, but basically none of the Horde did, and it has been a terrible downward spiral ever since.

Please Blizzard do something, anything.

We should do a deadpool on the next server to die.

Good. More servers should gonthe way of Flamelash imo, maybe then horde will shut up with all this crap they spew non stop and not being giant jerks, forcing Alliance to leave then QQ about there being no Alliance…

Thats sucks.

But camping someone for 40 minutes is definitely still pvp. 3 more days and we’ll see how much the dynamic shifts.

Faerilina seems like the next one, the streamers are mad and leaving, the spergs will follow and it will drop fast when they do.

The server is bad enough that players from other servers are making level 1 gnome tourists to watch the horde raids farm alliance in IF.

Trouble is those streamers will then ruin which ever server they transfer to.

This is a long way out but don’t alliance have to contribute to the AQ gate event? If so alliance should hold it hostage lol

Stalagg is the same, materials other than herbs are pretty pricey. A guildie said 10 heavy leather was selling for 5g lol

And I’ve noticed in /world that there’s not many dungeon groups any more. There used to be loads being spammed.

Hahahaaaa… horde will eventually drown in their own drool … ah well … it was designed that way …

Innacurate. I was there today. One streamer left, Swifty.

What annoys me is that a bunch of people were celebrating trolling and disrupting the Streamers. Yes Streamers can be silly but to celebrate some victory by zerging and stream sniping is moronic.

Not to mention that they chased off other players, paying people and anyone who thought WoW might be fun.

People asked for WoW Classic, Blizzard didn’t think anyone wanted it and were proven wrong. We hear that Blizzard killed the game yet it’s the players killing the game at the moment.

Skeram and Stalagg will be the NA versions of Flamelash, Actiblizz doesn’t care.

Most servers in Vanilla shared the same fate. I’m not sure this is as bad as we are making it out to be. BGs are cross-realm and players will have their alts in order to open the AQ gates.

No they did not, because even though a lot of vanilla servers had a massive imbalance for one faction it still was capped around 2.5k-3k ppl.

The world is not designed for the amount of people playing on it right now. Even if you had a vanilla server with 90% horde and 10% alliance (which wasnt the case cause ppl were less tryhard and didnt care about racials) most of em were medium. And full was like 2.5k-3k because that was the technology back then. It was not noticable as it is now. Because even if one faction has 90% of the pop on the server, if its just 900-1200k ppl you can still do stuff as alliance.

Yup, it was 55/45 and Alliance couldn’t handle that already (before any of this happened and there was almost no killing in the world during P1) and left right away.

Alliance can’t handle not being the majority, if they are anything less than 51/49 in their favor, they instantly want to bail and run away.

Yes thats it squabbles, cause ally players are all bad and trash and not fundamently the absolute same tools as you horde players are… NO! It has smth to do with their faction choice. You horde players are obviously such elite skill artists, everyone of you had 3k rating in the past arena/rated bg brackets.

I don’t see horde from alliance dominated servers crying with 15 forum threads an hour. Or constant reddit posts from horde about that issue.

Alliance is played by players of an average younger age, who are more prone to victimhood and whining, this is obvious to anyone with eyes who can read. If they aren’t victim babies, then why do they all transfer away at the first sign things won’t be 100% ezmode? Especially when if they just organized a TINY bit they’d realize how OP Paladins are and how trivial they make PvP.

Also, the issue isn’t faction balance, its overpopulation. Faction balance barely matters at all when there aren’t 4000-6000 players on the server.
