For some reason. When I use the weapon flame wrath using a seal and swing that both proc it, this will often proc it twice or even three times or up to 4 times in a 10-20 second period and then (here comes the bugged part) suddenly after it has procced A few times in a short period , it wont proc ever AGAIN and will refuse to proc unless a long time has passed, even up to an entire 2 whole MINUTES!!! There is something very wrong and I dont know what it is. Is there an internal cooldown related situation? Not sure. But there is no reason it should do this.
Something is in the way. I am very sure. Other weapons have been consistent except for this weapon. This happened months ago. I will test again to see of this has been fixed.
after 3-4 procs it goes on a 1 minute cooldown but this comment says the opposite

Did you test without triggering the GCD? Spell procs can be prevented by the GCD and it seems like only a handful of spell procs got the fix.

No I did it with spamming alot of seals and judgements and exorcism and rank 1 consecration and it still procced, but what happened was after a few procs it would not proc ever again until a minute passed
Just tested and it seems like the seals or spells arent stopping the proc
Its still stuffed in 1.13.7
Before it was proccing alot more so the patches did something
flame wrath will proc 4 times in a row in 15 seconds and then for 2 minutes it will not proc
There is some 1minute internal cooldown or something affecting it
can you fix it so the proc is consistent
it does not proc 5 times in a row. EVER

Could be an intended component of the weapon, some things are 1ppm, as much as that sucks… Example the healing dagger, and many many other weapons have what looks like 1ppm proc limits. Hopefully blizzard will clarify that, could be really nice to know.

So far I haven’t managed to get it to proc 5 times in a row. The proc chance is also high.
It procs 4 procs quite soon, maybe 15 seconds if you’re lucky.
There shouldn’t be a limit according to the comment. Otherwise it goes against the comment.
Do you know how I know its a bug? Because flame wrath has 2 bugs. The next one is rune of the dawn not affecting the fire shield.

Do we know if it didn’t get nerfed later? Like 1.11 with a few other itemization changes ?

I think it has an internal cooldown that comes after 4 procs and it lasts 45-50 seconds at least. Gcd isnt affecting its proc. And it’s proc chance is fine. It seems to have an icd. But there isn’t any mention of an icd in any comment. Im going to do more research.
Then again flame wrath isnt affected by rune of the dawn so it could be another bug. The thing is. I can’t find any comment saying it has an icd. Flame wrath not affected in 1.12 by rune of the dawn is still a major bug.
Its thesame with shaman fire totems. They don’t benefit at ALL from spell power vs undead.
There is just something very glitched about it

It feels cheap. Especially when it is the only effective paladin spell damage scaling item.
Everything related to paladins is just bugged.
Why would an internal cooldown occur after 4 procs? It’s stupid.
Usually internal cooldowns come after 1 proc
Such as shadow oil and thick obsidian chest.
And thottbot states obsidian chest has a 10 internal cooldown after it procs once but I think flame wrath is just bugged.
Why does the icd come after 4 procs?
Flame wrath wont work with rune of the dawn yep

Ah ok, I understand what you mean, I thought maybe it was like other things that would proc once and then not again for like 45 sec.
There are quite a few bugs like this too, well different bugs but still very inconsistent. Like for example if my target dies to deep wounds or rupture while I’m killing another; combat will drop lighting up my charge macro or stealth macro, and it’s not just a display bug you can actually use charge or stealth while pounding on someone… it’s crazy. On the flip side of the same coin sometimes I’ll kill a target and there is no one else and combat will not drop or lasts for an extended amount of time like more than the standard 5 or 6 sec that it’s supposed to be.
They gotta clean up the core, it’s not a happy place.

People mention alot of procs but no icd. I mean I was able to proc the effect 2 times in a row (one after the next swing) so an icd after 2 hits feels weird.

It does, and its weird, it will proc in a row 4 times but then not proc at all forever
