It’s only a matter of time. Anybody want to place predictions?
/spit was removed in TBC to show Activision-Blizzard’s commitment to change, so I imagine it’s only a matter of time before the big daddy of virtual violation (planting a flag of Ownership in an unconsenting corpse) gets removed from the game.

i predict that there will be a bunch of bad threads about it, each one worse than the last, and in each one of those threads i will post a recipe so as not to make it completely worthless

I would actually play this game, kinda addictive…
You can still say the N word on classic. This isnt about fighting toxicity its about protecting the whales that give blizz $$$$$. They dont give a damn what people do as long as it doesn’t hurt their profits.
Its the same reason why they punished that HS player for saying Free Hong Kong but later pretend to care about BLM. They had nothing to lose supporting BLM but they could lose money if they angered China so suddenly human rights were not an issue.

People paid real money for the Flag of Ownership.

A commitment to change has nothing to do with changing things in game, they need to change things in their workplace. Changing things in game is nothing more than virtue signaling, something they can point to and say, “See, we’re changing.” When they’re probably not changing anything that actually NEEDS changing. /spit

It’s turning into a common theme to throw out virtue signals by making in-game changes like changing sylvanas’s wardrobe, removing the voice actor of Kael’thas, and removing /spit instead of actually being true to their message and getting rid of bad actors in the company.
