Fixing Gold Sellers and Bots

Let’s get WoW token or gold boosts in the blizzard store page.

We have lots of whales that can put RMT out of business really fast.

Let’s fix the game!

Or instead of codifying RMT into the game officially, which makes RMT even worse, just permanently ban all the buyers, and hire actual humans to ban bots 24/7.

No blizzard makes money so it’s fine. That is why it should happen.

This will actually hurt gold selling platforms as buying a WoW token is 1000% less shady and risky than using a third party site.

Also by allowing in game economy to dictate gold prices, I.E tokens, the price stabilizes and is more controlled, which in turn helps to control incoming gold into the games economy.

Gold buying is already prevalent, any steps to crack down on it have consistently failed. Taking charge of an inconvenient situation with the wow token is a solid path for blizzard to consider.

This happens on grobb already. Someone buys say Heavy Leather out. Posts it for 9g a pop. Suddenly there are hundreds of stacks for 4g.

Having all that gold doesn’t let you dictate. You run out of bag space eventually and can’t control a normal commodity.

this is peak virtual capitalism

they asked for living wages so they’re not affordable anymore.

It’s a simple solution. And everyone thinks it is a good idea.

And instead blizzard will get the gold selling platform, legalizing and officially sanctioning the pay to win practice.

No steps have been taken to fix it. Killing the vast majority of RMT is a matter of will and priorities. Blizzard either wants the bot subscription or the token sale. Blizzard does nothing out of greed.

What’s wrong with blizzard selling gold exactly? Nothing. Oh except it puts bots out of business.

GG indeed

It’s better to be in control of it than allowing it to run without any moderation.
