[FIXED] Superbloom loot bugged. Lower ilvl in 10.2.6

Last week the Cache of Overblossoming Treasures would drop Veteran 1-4 gear (ilvl 441-450).

Just now in 10.2.6 I got Adventurer 4/8 (ilvl 437) gear from 2 caches.

This seems like a bug. Or is this an intentional nerf?

I checked the Blooming Seeds and Worthy Ally: Emerald Dream weeklies. They’re still both dropping Veteran gear.

My theory is that Season 4 will change Superbloom to Adv 4/8 on the S4 ilevel scale.

FIXED: confirmed hotfix. Back to Veteran gear now.

Was just coming to check the same, ran with two toons and got Ilvl 437 on both.

Same, got blue adventurer gear from Superbloom, not cool it was a slot I needed too.

2/2 characters getting blue items from Superbloom. Guess I’ll stop until we get an answer

I stopped after 2 also. 2/2 characters got blue from the Superbloom. My monk is so mad. She got boots from the Superbloom, and they were the last ones she needed to finish collecting all of the Emerald DReam veteran’s gear… then I saw the 437… oh crap… put in a ticket, but don’t have much hope of getting them replaced. Guess it’ll be another few months before they ever drop again.

Did it on 5 different toons all with varying ilvls. All got the same result as posted.

Same. Why would the lower the quality of the rewards? It’s a weekly quest.

Just tested on my toon that doesn’t need any of that, sure enough, it’s Adventure level gear.
Now I know to not waste time on the alts that just hit 70.

Yup, i believe this was nerfed this past Tuesday. Last week I got 441 ilvl gear from the cache. After the updated this week, ilvl 437 blues. I did the weekly on 3 different alt’s all the same. Hopefully blizzard will fix this.

The seed bag and renown reward still give purple, so I imagine (hope) it’s a bug!

I’m sad to find out I’m not the only one, put in a bug report though I’m not holding my breath I’ll receive the proper item lvl cape

I’m holding out hope that in S04 there will be a replacement community event that will drop Vet (or better) gear

Should be fixed now, though I haven’t tested it:

  • Fixed an issue where items from the Cache of Overblooming Treasures awarded from the Superbloom were dropping at a lower item level and upgrade track than intended.
