FIXED - Awakening the Machine not available if on "Fire and Gemstone" quest

Once you accept the renown 11 quest from Hallowfall Arathi that leads into “Fire and Gemstone” you can no longer access Awakening the Machine, only the quest hand in dialogue is available.

When Abandoning the quest, you can only accept the quest, not access Awakening the Machine.

This apparently is an issue since beta according to this beta test report and has not yet been fixed.

I’m seeing people enter it now that the servers are back up, but the NPC for me still refuses to talk to me. I have the quests from him, I have the weekly quest. I have completed every quest (minus the time gated quest chain in hallowfall). I should be able to enter, but he has no dialog options. In fact, he has blank dialog outside of the two quests I have that I can do. I’ve tried abandoning and picking stuff up, no avail.

I have this same issue. Quest you get from 11 renown from Hallowfall Arathi to upgrade your neck, Fire and Gemstone, is not completable for 2 reasons:

1. it requires you to do awakening the machine, which I cannot do, because the guy to start that event gives this quest & will only talk to me about this quest, and I cannot start the event.
2. The other item required from the quest says it comes from snuffling. I have snuffled ~100 piles (not exaggerating, I’m a wax lord), and haven’t seed this item (Ringing Gemstone).

This is blocking me from getting my neck upgrade and from doing the Awakening the Machine event.

I’d already done my machine prior to finding this quest, so it’s actually hilarious to me that it’s still not doable even if I’d waited. What a cluster that this has remained bugged so long.

I am also not able to complete the event awakening the machine or the quest tied to Fire and Gemstone as the NPC is not interactable.

Adding that I also have this issue. Had EA, got the Green Quest item to start Fire and Gemstone, turned that in first and now realize I probably blocked myself out of it.

This is absurd. I’m so excited for my ticket to get responded with and AI automated response of how to restore an item after a 30hr wait period for whatever reason for me to respond saying that doesn’t help me at all, to then get to wait for another 30-48hrs to get maybe a response from a real human.

Same situation

Myself and a few guildies can’t do anything with the awakened machine because we’re all 11+ renown with hallowfall.
We grinded rep/treasure as a group together so a lot of us are pretty high rep.

Dude I submitted one earlier for a similar situation where a quest giver had teleported away and taken a quest I needed with them. My automated response after waiting 2 days was “Here is everything about item restoration! WE HELPED RIGHT? :D” I just about screamed. I mean if we are guna get an automated response as the first response every time, why the hell it take 2 days for AI to write back?

Same issue on my end. The quest Fire and Gemstone prevents dialogue for starting the activity with Speaker Kuldas.

Hoping this gets fixed before next week, double loss if you picked the Awakening Machine quest for Pinnacle weekly.
