I have a bone to pick with Wow developers, For one. The world quests are the same as the actual quests, but when you are trying to do threads of fate; and the world quests get in the way? I am annoyed.
In legion. You did not get to unlock world quests until 110, So why is it not the same for now? You don’t get them until you reach level 60, Do a little pointless thing with your Cov, and bam world quests unlocked.
Why does my level 52 demon hunter, have world quests? She can barley even do the actual quests because the world quests get in the way, which are also. The same area as the original quests.
There is no phasing. There needs to be phasing. Because I am contending with people doing the wq instead of the people doing the quest itself for the storyline. Which I need to do… for threads of fate.
The devs really need to fix this. They rushed it again, and they shouldn’t have; they bring back phasing but fix the issue so it doesn’t phase you in the middle of a quest, like it was doing back in Nazjatar with the aweful sharding problem.
Now they are not sharding at all. Which is also not the answer.

Because then there’s nothing to do with Threads of Fate and it may as well not even exist. You won’t level if there’s no World Quests.

Yes I can. I can level by doing the quests which give %, to the threads of fate. I have been doing so. But I can’t do so when the world quests are in the way, it doesn’t make any sense.
But what happens when you run out of those side quests and you’re not level 60?
I’m pretty sure the side quests alone can’t get you from 50-60.
My whole gripe is that the areas are the same, and I can’t do both. It just doesnt make sense to me is all. Really. Because we didnt get world quests till we got leveled up in legion. I dont understand why we have them now.
Or does it unlock BECAUSE you pick threads of fate? I might just do the damn storyline again… Threads is a pain in the butt
I can do the WQ and the percentage one and getting credit for both. I like it. I don’t see the issue here.

The areas combine, and I can’t find the actual quest area, because the world quest is overlapping the quest area, and I can’t seem to get to it.
I mean the whole point is to do end game esqe content to level with Threads of Fate so that sounds like the deliberate design?
Considering you can’t actually do the story quest in ToF good luck levelling to 60 on just side quests and not dungeon spamming.
You don’t. The whole point of ToF is that you aren’t forced to do the storyline.
Sounds like you chose the wrong option when you had the choice.

queue dungeons those count for the zone completion. if you hit 60 those abandon and you go onward to campaign
Okay, thank you. But I see an issue here. So. I mentioned it. Thanks for your input.
Finish the WQ first, then what is left is the other one.

Yeah this might seem a little complaining, But this toon; That I am currently on, a DH. Is a tank, and I just… UUUGH… Really dont want to, I suppose I will, if I have to. I just… Dont want to tank…
How’re the WQs interfering? I’m on my 3rd ToF tour and this has never been an issue.

I just explained this to you: without them, there’s no Threads of Fate. Threads is the alternate way to level, so that people didn’t have to do the linear storyline over and over and over if they didn’t want to. (Which is why I despise the linear storyline, and they should have taken a step back and said, “huh… leveling alts is going to suck if we do this… oh well!”)
Threads is a mix of all sorts of things to break up the monotony.
Yup, that’s the only time they unlock for anyone under 60.
Thats is probably the better idea… I am really just venting to be honest.
World quests given to a level 50 is for those who need to quickly level up? there is a reason why people did those Legion Invasion WQs because they gave you so much that a quest would never provide in short amount of time.
I think that if a player doesn’t want to do WQ’s until lvl 60, they shouldn’t choose Threads of Fate.
Just my take.

Pretty sure OP didn’t realize that’s how it worked.

Yeah but I didn’t know thats what threads of fate did. So how was I supposed to have chosen a better option? I don’t need to be attacked.
