Just another appeal to fix Inferno by bringing it in line with other 10 min CDs including AoTD and Fire Elemental and resetting after boss encounters.
Blizz quote from the Fire Ele/AoTD hotfix: “Previously these spells were not included due to their potential impact, being very strong if usable on every attempt. As many expected, this did not deter guilds from simply waiting for the cooldowns between attempts anyway, causing significant delays for some raid teams that wanted to make sure they had every advantage for every pull.”
This logic clearly applies to Inferno as well. Inferno is already resettable by joining a skirmish, basically forcing a tedious and time-wasting extra step due to Blizzard’s oversight here.
If a fix is not going to happen, it would be nice to get an explanation as to why the reasoning for making the Fire Ele/AoTD QoL change somehow doesn’t also apply to Inferno.
this isn’t a “buff”, it’s making a cooldown reset just like all the other 10 minute CDs that reset after a boss kill/reset
Blizz seems to be really selective about which things they fix and which things they leave broken. Wild Growth has been broken since WOTLK prepatch (targets pets instead of players) and Blizzard’s only response has been “well that’s how it works in our reference client”. Frustrating to have our 51-point talent broken like this on what is arguably the weakest healer.
If they wanted to buff blood tanking they would have done it without buffing one of the strongest dps specs in the game lmao, and this literally buffs unholy more than blood. Doesn’t even make a dent in paladin superiority. Claiming it was done for that reason is absurd.
