Day 1 player on my server
Yet now because Blizzard mismanaged server populations I can’t play the freaking game on my server, and no I won’t xfer (I’ve been here since the start).
My sub is up right before WOTLK launch, and if I can’t play the game I’ll just go back to playing Escape from Tarkov instead, or actually get a life

Looking at the queue times, I’m not sure they care about 1 less.

If their solution to lowering queue times is lowering their overall revenue, I guess

Why would we take transfers to dead servers that are just gonna die in a few weeks again anyway? When you should be able to just login and play but due to blizzard incompetence we have to take “free transfers” to dead servers

If you transfer there it won’t be dead—it’s really hard to avoid a dad joke here since you are undead… Ooops
To be fair my point here is that Blizzard does not care about people threatening to unsub on the forums. Especially being that a lot of the times, the people threatening it don’t actually do it(or they unsub for like a month then come back).
By all means complain about the issues. Plenty of people here are.
but don’t expect threats of “I’m gonna quit and a bunch of people are gonna come with me!” to actually get taken seriously.
It never has been.
Lots of people will quit, but if you use these forums I doubt you will stay away. We are a “special” type of consumer

I’ve been playing Blizz games less and less since their creative genius has really died off in recent years, and they’re not exactly giving me a good reason to stay in this 10+ year old version of WoW atm.
Good question. Why won’t all of you people complaining about this collectively transfer so the server you transfer to isn’t dead? Hm, almost like it’s a self-circulating problem of your own making

You might as well already just unsub. Blizzard does not read the forums, and even if they did you’re just one of 10,000 other posts out here saying the same thing. They are offering you a solution, you just don’t like the solution being offered. You absolutely are within your right to not be happy with the solutions, just saying, you DO have options. You just don’t wanna take them.
Correct me if I’m mistaken, but isn’t there no transfer cooldown if you take a free transfer?
I mean, you could transfer with your raid team, play until the server queues die down then transfer back. And yeah, you’d have to pay to come back. That’s something Blizzard should offer for free, imo but it’s also only $25, which would probably be worth it for me if I was in that boat.
