What exactly is the issue you’re referring to?
Main issue I’ve been seeing is groups often either don’t get put into the same layer, or start in the same layer and somehow split out into other layers upon changing areas, especially in Dalaran, it was never great, but it got significantly worse after the last patch before Ulduar released.
Heck, I’ve had it happen in areas that have very low population in them, doing a /who “area” and the list doesn’t even fill.

I had it happen on 3 separate occasions the other day. Trying to summon my group at the stone and my party members are invisible.

They’re pretty borked right now. I was standing next to a guildy in dalaran, he invited me to a group, and then somehow I got moved to a different layer.
