Since whining and moaning and begging gets people fixes.
please fix ignite munching for mages, this has been an issue for far too long, and having to use a weak aura, and or macro that induces game lag isn’t fair thanks.
Munching for the uninformed
In the case of Living Bomb, when the explosion crits while a Fireball or Frostfire Bolt crit is landing, the Ignite from the Living Bomb explosion will be munched. In the case of Hot Streak, if the mage casts the instant Pyroblast immediately after a Fireball, and if both are crits, the Ignite from the Pyroblast will munch the Ignite damage from the first spell.
One possible way to avoid ignite munching is to add a CQS macro to your Pyroblast which will artificially add a delay between fireball and a hot streak Pyroblast. Frostfire bolt has a slightly faster travel speed, and at most ranges shouldn't incur an ignite munch when a hot streak Pyroblast is queued immediately after.```
it worked for ret paladins because there’s literal logs to show that people are excluding ret pallies from a ton of raids because of how bad they were without t10 set bonuses.

they drowned the forums out for months on end, drowning out any other actual feedback. ret paladins are fine lower damage for more utility which is OKAY you are still ahead of warriors, frost mages and sub rogues and catching up to fury already. and guess what fury doesn’t scale to the moon.

yeah, its because rets drowned the forums. if that was the case rdf would be back wouldn’t it? no, its because most paladins were dropping ret because groups wouldn’t take them in favor of DK’s and locks.
Sorry that people raid in casual guilds that don’t realize the value of ret on certain fights, like Algalon. thats not Blizzards problem to inform the uneducated. if people want to listen to misinformed players they can.

agreed. they should fix it. and to be fair i think warrior suffers from the same problem with deep wounds. but we’re already aware of how blizz feels about deep wounds.
