Ill gotten gains are likely to be confiscated.
Blizzard never had trouble punishing those that exploit bugs.

Can’t wait to see some perma bans for this.
The tears will be salty and delicious.
what would make it better is that they could not post here on retail alts. that would make the salt flow lol
because of the exploit it have ruined the experience of classic for a lot of the player. because of streamer and player that taken advantage of the game and ruined it. it’s not fair for somebody’s using this too level up fast and respawning boss loot in dungeon. because of this world pvp and pve is ruined. i hope blizzard will ban the player that doing this exploit.
I am an advocate for equal punishments across the board (Including STREAMERS) but a perma-ban is a bit much if they are suspending entire guilds. (they have set this precedent before, along with stripping of loot) I suspect a 3 day to 30 day ban will be the range of punishment we see. Just my two cents. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen.
And what about all the gold and loot?
Let them keep it?lol
because of this it ruin the economy in the game
Strip all their characters of gold and armor, then make a public announcement of these players and the names/guilds. Don’t ban them, just make them public.
People who work for a living? have families…people who’s taxable income pays for you dole bludgers?
Ah yes, YourTeamCheats, run by Pats fans who use questionable methods to exclude certain things the Patriots have done, while also counting all player suspensions as the team cheating, even if it clearly wasn’t the organization that was doing it, but just the player.
What an unbiased, amazing source.

Blizzard has already set a precedent for this, even for accidental bugs. They will most definitely strip people of loot. If you see my previous posts I tried to convey this. Forgot to cover it in this particular response. Apologies.
Who cares if they have the loot and the gold when they are PERMANENTLY BANNED.
I have a full time job and work 5 days a week.
My point is there are so many “spellcleave is bad!” “Am I the only one NOT rushing” “elitists bad!” posts by casuals who imo are being highly judgmental of how others choose to play the game.
“Elitists” arnt telling “casuals”, “You’re playing the game wrong”.
But you can bet the opposite is true and casuals are being highly judgemental of anyone higher level than them.
little baby timeouts do absolutely nothing. oh no 3-30 days what ever shall i do. its why blizzard is a joke and a laughing stock for a lot for people when it comes to actually dropping the hammer on this stuff. very few people are worried their account might actually be perma banned if they’re caught exploiting and they’ll lose everything on it. all those achievements, micro’s, etc on that account mean a lot to some people. the chance of getting perma’d by blizz is so tiny that a little temp ban means nothing if they gain huge benefits from exploits.
Question, does this relate to the people who are selling Mara ring runs?
very high chance that this is exactly how they’re doing it.
edit to say watching trade chat now and i see nobody advertising mara ring runs now so ya i’d say thats how most of those runs were being done.
Who knows, they already got the big marketing push given to them by streamers. Now those same streamers are just advertising exploits that will damage the community and ultimately cutting into blizzards bottom line if people are pushing through content faster than designed. Would be nice if an example was made

This is true, years ago I had a friend who used honor buddy (a bot that farmed bgs for you to gain honor and exp).
I asked him why he does it when he could get banned and he just laughed and said he had been caught multiple times and only received 1 week bans and didn’t care because its only a week.
its good that you guys would take action and banned them. but its too late, my excitement to play already ruined ever since the layering exploit, and now this!
its been a fun and great, but i dont think i will sub for another month unless there’s new fresh server that are not impacted by such exploit
