And like I said, I’m actually for banning ALL layer exploiters.
Anyone that layer exploits should be banned.
Idc if your layer hopping in a dungeon to farm rare flasks or layer hopping in the world to avoid pvp, should be banned regardless
Exploiters are probably taking free transfers to other realms and moving their gold/items/mats to other toons/accounts.
I hope Blizzard tracks all their stuff down.
Dumbass read my posts properly, I’m advocating that ALL layer hop abuses get banned, not just those that did it in dungeons.
And no I have been against layering from the start, I knew it would ruin the game, my guild only learnt about the exploit this morning, blizzard can investigate me all they want I’ve been layer free since I started it’s a crap terrible system.
Any semi-experienced player using this on any dungeon worth a damn should know better. That’s the point Blizzard is going to make, and that is why people will be punished.

we’ll all find out very shortly if blizz actually does any bans since there will be a fair amount of well known streamers lvling new accounts. i wouldnt get any hopes up that blizz actually does anything though. looks bad when they have to ban several well known “top” players and their entire guilds.
Looks worse if they do nothing and then they would have created a moral hazard of inviting more exploitation in the future.
That didn’t stop blizz from rolling back Athene during Wotlk’s release and race to 80. It is just a shame that blizz had more balls back then. I’d love to see a GM visit these fools while they are live in the same fashion.
Streamers and other players exploited the raid xp bug all the way to 60 and nothing was done about it, Esfand will be banned, a lot of big name players will be banned. Won’t be good for the game

And all my posts are FOR banning layer hoppers, ALL of them.
But ofc since I’m 60 with a rag kill i must be one of those “evil elitists ruining the game”.
Sometimes I think its you casuals that need to get over yourself and let people enjoy the game how they want.
non-streamers will be banned or suspended. streamers will get a slap on the wrist and their items deleted after a scolding from blizzard
What would be worse would be doing nothing and letting people get away with it.
And I think Esfand’s situation was different. Raids are on IDs. You get locked into a raid ID. His might be different.
Blizzard has no issues banning (or suspending, more likely) entire guilds… See ICC accidental exploit. I am skeptical if streamer guilds will be included, however.
No, that will be GOOD for the game if they all get banned.
Then those who are really here to play legit, will be left, to … you know, play legit.
Blizzard can lose a few streamers and their lemmings, but they can’t afford to lose all those who would be here for the long haul if they don’t end up feeling like the game is trashed because of exploiters.
Blizzard, please, smack them as hard as possible with that hammer. What you do now, will set an example and it needs to be an example that will STOP people from abusing exploits in the future. Smack once, smack hard, smack fast. And crit the hit.
You seem to be for banning the abusers but at the same time passively suggesting that “everyone” was doing it and suggesting that it was kind of a “normal” thing that everybody did.
disagree. will be great for the game and will show blizz doesnt show favoritism to certain people cause they’re a big name in a world wide known group. they will be treated the same as everybody else instead of getting special treatment.
