Without layering, Blizzard would need 100 servers to handle all the populations and you’d have everyone divided up and angry about crazy queues on popular realms. It would be worse than it is now.

Private servers can manage 12k servers which has 1/1000th the hardware blizz does so the game would of been fine without layering.

That would mean they don’t stop winning. I’d guess you don’t want that. You could, if you wanted to look at cheaters, look at any of the following WORSE cheaters:
- Denver Broncos
- New York Jets
- Indianapolis Colts
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- San Francisco 49ers
- New York Giants
- Balimore Ravens
- Oakland Raiders
- Miami Dolphins
- Green Bay Packers

They abused layering in dungeons on Day 1. Bliz knew. They just didn’t act until we said something.

Swing away! There needs to be real punishment to make an example of these people. The streamers who did it getting banned would get the message across. There are going to be future opportunities for exploits as people discover them, but if people fear the banhammer for using them, then they won’t. Right now, people don’t fear it so the “exploit early, exploit often”. But if Blizz makes examples of them, then most people, when finding out about an exploit, will steer far clear of it.

Esfands Molten Core reset was streamed the entire time, and his entire raid waited around for 1.5 hours waiting for a response from blizzard about what the hell was going on with their raid, and Josh Allen “Lore” told Esfand he was fine to clear the raid.
not sure why you are trying to say staysafe is trying to save face. there is literally zero evidence to suggest he abused any exploit.

All the more reason to ban. If people see even the streamers are banned, who is going to want to even be near a future exploit? Let’s be real, it’s a massive code base and this isn’t the last exploit we’ll find. But if people have fear put in them, then who is going to want to chance it? Very few. But if they go easy on people and streamers who everyone knows engaged in this receive no punishment, then it’s basically telling people to “exploit early, exploit often.”
