Anyone who has ever been in a raid knows bosses don’t respawn and drop more lootz. That alone is premise to ban all of them. Where’s the logs? Blizz should be able to easily see that X boss was killed repeatedly in the combat logs.
Let me guess. Those logs are with the 1.1-1.11 data.

Pretty sure many folks are taking advantage of layering. It has to go.
This to me is not just the players fault. It’s Blizzards for creating layers and not more servers in the first place. If layers stay on, I’m out of here.
This launch was the worst I’ve seen for any game yet. I mean how are they going to fix this?
Vanilla was a time and place that I was lucky to experience but classic is just a massive hot mess and I don’t blame any player that doesn’t want to pay for this so called “vanilla experience”.

Suspension is not a ban, nor is it a reset. A suspension is a time out that only serves to infuriate more players than it appeases.
Eighteen hours later and bans have rolled out. Crazy how the Legacy community suddenly came to the conclusion Blizzard is okay with exploiting despite having banned people for it for the past 15 years.
I wondered how some people had thousands of gold on my server already and were decked out in BIS gear. They need to be perma banned from classic yes. It isn’t just what they gained but they’ve been pouring that gold into the economy and now it’s all screwed up so is blizz going to trace all that gold and remove it too?
Who has gotten banned so far? Need names.
yes I know that, and they didn’t reset any raids since, because they didn’t even know how it happened in the first place
the people who are exploiting it should be banned though
Someone posted a screenshot of a ban letter on reddit; 1 month ban and loss of all items gained through exploiting. We’ll see if that’s going to apply to everyone.
I won’t lie, I’m a little bit upset that it isn’t a harsher punishment.

Well it is curious that certain people xp exploit to 60, then layer hop to get geared…
… meanwhile blizz ignores the reporting, then says its no big deal, then closes the xp exploit after those folks (the ones the devs frequently visit ungame) hit 60…
… continues to ignore the layer hop bug…
… then announces it is an exploit after certain olayers who are now 60 are geared out.
Let’s see what blizz’s reaction is.
Meanwhile in… I’m curious to see how the old pserver devs that advised on classic are doing. Are they playing classic? Hit 60? Geared out in bis?

Ban 'em live, please. The humiliation of Blizzard was repeatedly televised for the world to see. Reciprocate in kind. Time to cast Overpower, if you will.
Gonna need to see some REAL punitive measures from Blizz before I get all excited about this blue post. No offense, but actions speak louder than words and Blizz needs to be VERY strong and clear about there being zero tolerance for abusing bugs/exploiting.

I fully support as brutal a punishment as possible, up to and including permabans and legal action for recovery of the real-world cost of cleanup, not only for taking advantage of the exploit but also for spreading the methodology. This has to stop. People need to be in serious fear of losing all access, otherwise they’ll just point and laugh at “enforcement”.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on this one. If items/gold/recipes don’t get deleted and exploiters don’t get a decent temp ban, I will quit classic WoW. Not that me alone quitting will make an impact nor will anyone miss me, but many many players like myself quitting will impact the game. I didn’t come back to WoW after years of dormancy for the authentic experience just to get s*@t on in PvP during phase 2 and farm for hours just to make silver in the AH. I didn’t pay a sub to play with cheaters that have a huge advantage over legit players.

Blizzard will definitely find this out if they don’t remove all gains made by cheats.
