Everyone kept their Gold, EXP, and Items from the EXP exploit, I Don’t see how this will be any different. IF you find an exploit, just make sure you take advantage of it early, and then tell everyone else about it so they do it and you have cushion to not get banned for it, seems like what is happening. (Get as many people as you can involved in the exploit so you keep all your cheated stuff.)

Seriously though, whos bright idea was it to let this layering thing go on for so long? It should of been eradicated a few days after the chaotic launch.

They can’t get rid of layering. They already went all in on it.
If they removed layering now, the queue times would be outrageous.
Get rid of layering.
It’s singlehandey wrecked a great idea in Classic.
Ban those who abused it.
I’m gonna keep playing because this IS my game, but this has seriously harshed my WoW buzz.
Layering made all of this BS possible, but the players can’t escape blame.
We fought hard for this game and some people just can’t help themselves.
Get rid of them.

You said rolling restarts, doesn’t mean take every server down for the entire hour… you start shutting some down restarting then do a cluster of others… I hope the game won’t be down for an entire hour or longer, rolling restarts= 15 min already been a half hour.
They will probably get 2 days suspend at the most, when the gear gained from the exploit would have taken months to get.
Perma-Ban, and delete toons. no exceptions
Truthfully they need to just start entire servers over… this has already broken the economy

Queue has nothing to do with layering. You sit in queue wether there is layering or not. Its just overcrowded zones and their crappy hardware probably that can not accomodate so many players in one zone.

Classic does need a re-release, one without all the cheating gained through exploiting bugs and people using them for an unfair advantage. Then they can have REAL world-firsts for classic.

Great! Now go back and “fix” everyone that exploited dungeon-raid xp and layering to farm skin/herb/mine
Feedback: The punative measures had best be Brutal and public.
Especially for the streamers who somehow all got their bindings this week.
If you allow this to go with a slap on the wrist, that is not conducive to a community I, for one, want to be a part of.
