I am reposting this on the General Forums in hopes it gains more traction. There is a link to a Forum Thread (that has been not responded to by a Blue for two years…) below. This has been broken for two years now and seemingly unaddressed.
For those who are unaware, the Legion Artifact Fishing Rod (Underlight Angler) has three unlockable appaearances. However, two of them (Fisher Friends variants) are not visible when you select them, and it looks like you are holding nothing while fishing. Additionally, as of The War Within launch last August, the Underlight Angler now does not allow you to spend your Artifact Power to gain any of the benefits of it (Water Walking and Fish Transformation). This is not intentional, as you can still run scripts as found on Wowhead to do it backhanded/manually. This is quite ridiculous.
I realize that this is Legion content, and likely not high on the priority list, but it is still considered relevant with the Fishing Equipment and has been broken for two years at this point.
My guy. There are literally hundreds of broken mounts in the game thanks to skyriding that they still haven’t fixed (some of which are store mounts, lmao). The Garrison monuments haven’t worked in 3 centuries. The teleport elementals from the garrison mage tower completely break the game if you get anywhere near them etc.
Just add this bug to the pile that they’ll never get around to fixing.
You must’ve read the sarcasm wrong. While granted, I agree this is an absolute bottom of the barrel issue. My comment was intended to show that if only this were the singular issue wrong with this game, it would be an amazing game.
They don’t fix old content anymore. They don’t even pretend. They can hardly keep current stuff working. This is a seasonal game now. If it’s not in season it’s left to rot
