Because it will take time for the report, time for the logs to be investigated. Bans are slow to help verify, but also to help break any possible new bot software Probably will take longer than 3 days. You should get an in game mail though if your reports help stop a true cheater.

you can also use mouse over target macros to interact with the hook. My guild goes thru like 150K + worth of feasts a week on prog nights for raid. Thats alot of fish. Iâl have days where im literally casting for hours with a movie on and just doing my thing. I ignore people who jump on mounts trying to grief me because it doesnt really make a difference to my casting routine.
Blizz doesnt auto ban individual characters, you can submit the bot report and it goes through an investigation phase. People wont get bans until Blizz can work out how to break the bot otherwise its just whack-a-mole.
Theres also more efficent ways to farm gold. even for the highest cost fish at best getting a stack and a half over an hour for like 5-7k gold. Youd make more farming just about anything else.

That doesnât do what it used to. To cut down on players blocking things, in most cases you can click through other players.

Not to mention you can swivel your camera view to where you are looking at your character and have the bobber directly in front of your camera. I do that sometimes just to make it easier to see that tiny little bobber (dang old eyes, lol).
This was done using 2 different licenses of mine. My Vulpera is the one fishing and my Orc is the one attempting to block her view.

I daresay itâs less a debate and more a clarity of perception. Offering alternative ways to look at how things may seem on the surface is a good way to clear up any misconceptions, and all.

Debate wasnt what i was originaly planning but i figured debate was the more diplomatic.
Iâm just on mounted in front of him to stop fish bot. If he was a real player and was catching by zooming out and clicking the hook then good for him. Iâm not trying to grief a real player fishing thatâs why I donât sit on the bobber. I simply cover him because fish bots zoom camera all the way in. When Iâm not afk I just simply fish beside him so the bot will read my bobber and pull his back. If he was not botting then ez catches

If he moves to another location I do not follow. Heck if he moved 2 feet the the right I would not follow.
Still harassment in my books, canât you just report and find something else to do with your time. Are you that bored?

He has never told me to stop. Never moved. Never did an emote. He also has every right to report me if he wanted. Iâm not scared of that tho because he is a bot lol. I fish on that character so not wasting time.

Thatâs not normal. They donât have to speak to you nor emote or move. Youâre in the wrong here and while I donât believe itâs reportable what youâre doing, itâs certainly not a good move on your part.

To be quite honest Iâm far more troubled by your focused intent on what may or may not be a bot. Even if it is a bot or person using illegal software, your behavior is kind of asinine and it would probably be a good idea to take a breather from the game if this is all youâve got to do with your time.

Well itâs my fishing toon so not wasting time. Itâs funny that the original post is really me not knowing why GMs are not instantly addressing the issue. My question was answered and now we have snowballed to my mental health. Thank you all that answered my question and to those that are worried about my mental health. I will let GMs handle there part and I will continue to fish beside him without harassment

And again, you may think you know. But unless youâre sitting on Blizzardâs side of the table, you donât know for sure. Iâve got friends who will just sit there and fish for heavens only know how long at a stretch. And if youâre sitting there for 2-3 days non-stop with them, what does that make you?

so you are a bot too ? cause in order to know they are there 2 days in a row 24/7 you must have been there the whole time.
I think I mentioned earlier in this thread my fish stocking for my kitty in classic. I fished 18+ hrs a day, Iâm sure many thought I was a bot.
