Must be the highlight of the day for you to ignore information to make your petty jokes.
You post, in itâs entirety.
So, either 8.3 mysteriously has not dropped?
Or the big player vacancy in classic did not appear to happen?
Or you are trying to let us here in classic know that retail pop will be light due to people downloading a patch, which would be a given, but would make no sense to alert about in the classic forum.
So, Iâd be happy if youâd point out to me the ignored part
This implies that 8.3 drops on Classic while denying retails existence by looking through a narrow slit or by exclusively playing or inferring that this is a Classic only discussion.
Iâve made my point either way so. Cya.
Nope, not what it implies at all.
You probably should not have quoted the whole thing if you meant for it to seem that way
Outside of leveling the content is far easier than the harder retail content.
And even leveling isnt difficult in Classic.
Time consuming = difficult.
Not sure if someone has covered it, but shaman is horde only and paladin is ally only. Server transfers cannot happen from PvE to PvP.
PvP happens A LOT on a PvP server. Get used to it or roll PvE. No sympathy will be had. There is no war mode, you are flagged all the time in contested zones and flag drops after 5 mins of inactive pvp in your factions zones/cities.
Every class has itâs strengths and weaknesses. Donât expect to play a hybrid class and be the best at tank/dps/healer. You will be an assest that provides a little of everything.
Your pure DPS classes donât have self heals. You typically need 5 players for a dungeon. Donât expect to face roll elites your level or a couple levels under you.
Rogues stealth moves like 60% slower or something. Professions matter. Save every copper you can. Only train skills you need. The journey from 1-60 can be as fun or as horrible as you make it. You will still be in level 40 greens at 60. Get your rep up with your home city and you save on your mount. 90 gold by level 40 really isnât that bad if you take up good professions and donât blow you whole wallet on the AH and trainer.
WoW classic and BFA are really 2 different games.
This is all coming from an extremely casual player. This is my main. 6 days+ played. NO rush in any sense to hit 60.
Edit: Spell check.
just expect an 80% reduction in XP gain for grouping up( penalty for doing anything social in the game ) with anyone 1 level higher than you, the trade off is now you 2 can grind 6x times as many mobs faster to compensate. Unless neither of you are a mage than on 3x as many mobs faster.
at lower levels here is what you will see fighting a beast 3-5 levels lower than you and with your skill level capped:
your x misses
mob hits you for 22
mob hits you for 18
mob hits you for 22
your x spell was resisted
mob hits you for 18
mob hits you for 20
your x misses
mob hits you for 22
mob hits you for 18
mob hits you for 22
you hit mob for 14
you die 21 overkill
well⌠if you are only playing to level 20, you do not need to be concerned about the cost of a mount (which you can not get until level 40).
for the most part, playing WoW is a face roll. However, it takes a huge amount of time.
Not sure about âmount coast?â Did you mean mount âcost?â
If youâre playing on a trial account you can only play to level 20 and you canât ride a mount at that level so it really shouldnât be a problem.
Not in Classic. I get a group experience bonus. Itâs retail that punishes you for grouping.
I had a whole thread on this with logs ,
level 4 and level 5 group, killing mobs lvl 5 and 6 was 11 xp each , solo it was 80xp +
not sure what XP bonus you received for grouping. Granted by grouping you can now be forced to kill more than 6x the mobs to equal the same amount of XP
No idea what youâre talking about. I play with my spouse most of the time and we get an xp bonus from being in a group and we usually DING together. I donât notice any significant slowdown.
However, it is true, when youâre in a group, you need to kill more mobs because otherwise the game would be complete cake.
SWTOR is the same â mob number increases as the size of your group increases. But since you have more people, killing is swift and experience is good.
This is only an option playing WOW Retail. WOW Classic cannot be accessed at all without game time.
Really? What? Why? SMH
Thanks for letting me know.
I will eat Tauren steaks for breakfast lunch and dinner! So tasty!
You need to go to Uldum.
Because in Classic, levels 1-20 is a third of the game. In Modern, itâs a fraction of the tutorial, because the game is set up as a greased slide to raiding.
NOTHING.
Thatâs the point of OG wow you just go in and learn it as you go.
