for some reason (on moon guard) tuxedo pants are extremely expensive on the AH. Saw them going for 10k gold, so if you need Tuxedo Pants just send me a mail and I will make you them for free. Bonus if you send me the mats but honestly what the heck.
Also my helm and wep enchant are busted so i made those my xmog lmao
I am just in complete awe of how terrible that human set looks compared to the warfront plate set from BFA. The boots and pants look like they don’t even belong together.
The orc armor looks pretty good, I’ll admit. Still, pretty questionable prioritizing that the two races with the most dominant presence in the game’s aesthetic are getting this before Draenei, Trolls, and Night Elves.
One thing I do like about the human set is that I rolled my first human ever recently and he’s a warlock and I appreciate having non-cloth lookin cosmetic armors on a cloth character just for variety.
The post also mentions different variants, and lordaeron or theramore color schemes might go a long way. I just don’t like blue gold that much
I am slightly superficially angry about a number of items that aren’t moggable, but I am still formulating an entire separate rant thread for that.
I am curious why things like “Rogue’s Tunic” are listed for 50,000 gold on the AH. Are people really so lazy that they can’t roll a new human rogue, spawn in, take the armor off, put the armor back on and get the appearances for free or am I missing something?
As for the Orc/Human heritage armor, I am unimpressed. I don’t really play either Orcs or Humans, but neither set feels like something we waited years for. These are the two flagship races of this entire universe and those sets are just…‘eh’ to me.
I saw the ‘variations’ comment, so I’m hoping they’ll release something better.
Some of the prices right now are ambitious or TSM being optimistic but, considering I sold a bit of worgen starting gear for 10K yesterday & regularly resell vendor items for a profit, in my experience people are more than willing to trade gold for convenience.
I’m excited for worgen monks because now I can finally glam the invisible fist weapons and pretend like I’m fighting with my claws. It’s the little things.
From a sales point of view, they should have focused the races with the largest populations first, and then worked their way down. That way, they’d keep the largest number of players engaged.
They make me feel like the Futurama greys. “I have no strong feelings one way or the other.” I don’t play them either, so I guess that’s why.

Hopefully the trading post doesn’t turn into the boringness of ESO’s daily logins or that do x amounts of this for y amounts of points for the alternate crown store.
I don’t play humans but whew is the human set very lame lmao. It feels like a worse version of the stormwind guard armor but with warfront pieces cobbled in. I think its fine to be stormwind theme since the playable human characters in the game are stormwind humans but I think they could have done something else. Like some of the armour sets from the movie are pretty cool, why not lean into some of that? king llane’s armor is what comes to mind, it’s a cool looking set!
I’m so-so about the orc set, I do like that it’s baiscally NO SHIRT NO PANTS ONLY SPIKES thow. Very conan the barbarian which I like because I like conan the barbarian haha. Yet idk if it is the best representation for orcs. We have so much SPIKES AND PLATE already in the game that leaning into their shamanistic background could have been a great alternative to focus on imo
I know for the longest time it was humans and blood elves, followed by Night Elves (?). Not sure what it is currently, I wonder if the addition of void/high elves skewed it at all but likely doubtful considering the overall health of the Alliance faction in the game as a whole.
I’m with Norman – many grey/white items not moggable yet and a bit of a head-scratcher there. I hope they just keep adding more over time??
Some of the obscure, soulbound trash items that I’ve held on to, taking up precious bank space on Sef here, are not learnable. Chipped Manari Blade, for example.
I’m also certain a soulbound grey belt changed from a unique to basic model but I’m not 100% and it makes me feel like I’m losing it!
Look man I’m probably the biggest Stormwind lore stan here and even I don’t like the human heritage armor. They could have done so many interesting things with it, like armor from other kingdoms, or armor that replicates the look from the old RTS games like WC1 or 2. This was the most safe and boring option possible.
I don’t know what you’re complaining about. Anything less than our traditional bikini armor will be a disgrace and you know they aren’t going to give it to us.
I’m loosing it on the shadowland legendaries because I swore they did not look like the mythic raid sets before the changes.
I have so many screenshots of my character in shadowlands using the legendary robe and it did not look like what it is now in the game.
That said, I’m not really complaining because now i don’t have to wait a couple years to start farming mythic sanctum for xmog. The conquest PVP set you can buy with tokens now is more or less the same as the old legendary, minus some of the glowy special affects. Which to me weren’t very noticeable to begin with so it’s not a huge loss.
