So, I have been playing for a couple of days now and I like it. Not saying it’s perfect, but I like it a lot. As has been said, it’s cozy. There is familiarity. I don’t have that war-weariness that I’ve had in the past several expansions. I get to be an explorer, not the “world champion”, it’s nice.
It’s an adjustment coming back after 2 years. I’m trying to figure some stuff out and get used to the new UI. Dragon flying isn’t my cup of tea, I lack the hand eye co-ordination (dyslexic). But that’s just me. Overall I am pleasantly surprised.
Doing small patches focused on cosmetics/stuff other than a raid tier is so good. These .5 and .7 patches look like they’ll address a lot of my concerns with the base Dragonflight experience of not having much to do as a non-raidin non-mythic+ doing casual–if I can collect new heritage armors and trading post stuff I’ll be pretty happy!

I did actually level a human for the first time recently so I can get that one, though I’m curious what human and orc sets they’ll come up with that won’t feel like a retread of the Arathi warfront sets (or maghar sets). Maybe something Lordaeron-themed for humans in silver and blue rather than the stormwind gold motif? Does WoW yet have the technology for an asymmetric L tabard??
As for Orcs idk, Mag’har armor is pretty much perfect for orcs already, maybe some blademaster-style back banners as cape mogs?
When Blizz announces Draenei heritage armour, at the end of the quest instead of Draenei armour we unlock high elf heritage set for void elves instead lmao

anyway you get four pants, three shirts for one outfit and they work on all body types and juspion is thighs out baby!!!
on the topic of plump draenic man thighs I do appreciate having a “sexy” version and a “sensible” version as options for men and women. For a while there has been just less sexy armor altogether, hence the unfortunately enduring popularity of low-rez 2004 thong armor, but we don’t want a ban on butts we just don’t want pants that transform based on gender.
