First Bellular now Asmon

I’ve never understood the hero worship that these guys seem to have. Then again I’ve never understood the appeal of pundits like O’Reilly, Hannity, Maddow or Sharpton either. I’ve just never cared to watch people whose sole job seams to be riling people up by making mountains out of molehills.

They are shameless. Purposely make this game worse it seems for no real benefit

It’s basically cult behavior.

Good for him. I hope he enjoys his gaming adventures. I don’t really care either way, but here we are.

Asmongold literally does whatever gets him the most viewers lol, so ofc he’s gonna hope on the bandwagon.

Good, it helps content not be irrelevant.

Preach is probably next. None of them have ever had an original thought in their lives, they just follow the caravan.

Preach already made some FF14 videos trying to analyze its raiding format, doubt he’s going to play it.

LOL! Not to me. My time playing WOW isn’t based on some dork from Youtube.

You can tell they’re true fans because they quit years ago but still post about it every day. Ya know, like how you can tell a couples meant for each other because one of them is still stalking their social media 15 yrs after the break up.

Its a big deal that three major WoW youtubers and Twitch streamers are started to jump ship. Bellular, Preach, and now Asmongold. SL is officially worse than WoD and BFA put together.

Why?

Kind of like how posters on this forum can’t seem to stand these streamers but can’t seem to keep them out of their mouth.

Also yes!!

It’s actually true. I’ve had to put in tickets before over player behavior, and I had a GM whispering me within an hour or so. This was back during 3.0 (Heavenward). We had a tank purposely troll and break up our raid. GM was super helpful and very understanding. The customer service over there really is good stuff!

They really will sanction players for bad behavior as well. My husband ended up with a warning for something he did in a raid that upset the majority of the raid. Tbf, he deserved it. lol

Not really a big deal, they saw a trend, they exploit it. Welcome to social medias 101.

Promise you they’re going to be back Day 1 of 9.1.

I can’t stand Asmongold… now allow me to spend all day explaining why!

I always wonder how much better this game would be if they would’ve stopped catering to the high end raiders and esports scene, and made the game for casual players. Seems like the game has taken a nosedive since MoP. Legion was actually amazing aside from certain aspects of it like the PvP templates which I wasn’t a fan of.

Legion proved that WoW could survive and make a great game for everyone. But the quality and love for the product just isn’t there anymore. The worst part are the content droughts. I think before they release an expansion they should already have the next patch in the oven ready to pop out so they are ahead of their work.

This expansion we’ll be lucky to get a 9.3 which is just a disgrace imo. We should be getting a 9.4 like the golden days of WoW

“I can’t stand this person! Let me watch his latest videos and explain exactly why over the course of several threads on GD!”

Because it shows that even streamers who make money on making WoW content had enough of Blizzard and willing to take a chance at a new game even if it risk their income.
