Just keep in mind statistically speaking it’s more likely you face a premade on the enemy team than you having one on your own team, assuming both factions have an equal number and size of premades.
However it would take quite the imbalance of premades to make it a 50/50 chance for one faction.
My thinking is whatever they changed was on backend API stuff from addons
Simplest answer and all that
BGE seemed to be working as normal just a short time ago
I think people were testing it in comp stomp and getting confused because in comp stomp it can’t see the enemy team until the gates open, I assume because they don’t actually spawn in until then.
If they knew people were using this before Q thing just perma ban them LOL. Why warn these people just banish them and be done with it
this is to stop premade groups from dodging other premade groups. It’s an absolute win for the system. This forces these groups to fight each other, freeing up other epic bg queue space
Until there is account wide deserter, this doesn’t stop anything because there are zero accountability for their actions afking out to not fight another premade.
AFK gives you deserter, putting a pre made group out of queue for that time period. The change is about freeing up some of the queue space.
What is this weird obsession with some of the WoW player base that wants to force people to make friends or join a community to just play the game? Maybe people want 30 friends? Maybe they are happy with 9?
OK, so no more dodging other groups.
Great. I’m all for it.
This isn’t going to stop premades. So don’t get you hopes up.
Even if they banned every addon, there is no way you can stop folks doing 1…2…3…click in voice.
Now we can finally move on. Finally!
Yeah, I don’t know if that is something to brag about. I remember in DF camping a whole bunch of them on a Blood DK.
So you dodge premades?
Yup, because you dislike facts and actual logic and I won’t let you do the “are they really friends” run around lol.
It’s because of your flaws and non-productivity in argumentation.
And they have. It does not appear that you are convincing the masses here lol.
If you’re happy with no friends, more power to you. If you want more, join a community. There’s no obsession here. Just simple advice that people like you always get weirdly defensive about.
At this point, it’s only 1 community that dodges to avoid competition. I was in bsg game against djl in ashran and we lost. But we agreed it was fun af despite it.
Good first step next thing they need to do is make randoms battlegrounds/epics like rated/blitz mix the factions finally kill premades
Yep, doesn’t affect us.
because people take an art of war approach to wow pvp, if one team is doing something that leads to them winning, every team must start doing that in order to stay competitive. whether they actually want to or not. if blizzard comes out with a warning first, then people get a chance to stop, leaving those who don’t no wiggleroom from the banhammer.
I queued apparently with BGE active last night.
I’m unaware of it populating enemy information before you are in the BG. That would seem unfair.
I noted less cancels of queue and matches seemed more even.
It did report specs once I was waiting on the bg.
Weird thing is I couldn’t find bg enemies in my addons or curse or anything. My intent was to disable it cause I was worried it could be actionable.
I only use that and the tab target fix addon cause I wanna know which class is a healer quickly and the stock ui is terrible with tab targeting - hopefully that won’t be an issue.
I absolutely hate the fact that queue sync exists and I hope blizzard has found a fix.
Not what I said but k?
I am in communities, just not queue sync ones.
Because this isn’t about making friends. It’s about what makes BGs enjoyable for the most people. The EBG bracket has been decimated by queue sync premades running unchecked. That will hopefully change though. People get weirdly defensive when they get called out for not following the rules or circumventing them for gains for a small amount of people while making the overall experience miserable.
