Fired by facebook is a thing?

Shall we play a game?

You’re right, it was the entire post that was the issue, and not just the small aspect.
You would know this is my argument, if you were not so caught up in your feelings that you could not read what I stated.

Ya sadly damn its times like this I wish I could be on a island alone with my love and no technology safer not even going 2 it but when u got access 2 it makes it so hard to resist

You can, but there would be consequences. If you went into any workplace and started spouting racial superiority you wouldn’t have a job.

Freedom of speech exists here in Australia as foes consequences of that freedom.

Employment contracts cover these things off in their termination section specifically regarding conduct.

Try getting a tattoo of a swastika and tell people that it is a Hindu symbol of well being. No one will believe you. Same thing for the confederate battle standard flag. That flag has a certain symbology attached to it. If you don’t want to be associated with that symbology maybe pick a different symbol.

I didn’t argue that at all. Why you think that after this conversation has gone on this lone, with me clarifying my poistiion as many times as I have, is kind of confusing at this point. You’re either trolling, or you refuse to read what I’d posted, or you simply aren’t capable. Maybe an unhealthy mix of all three?

A forced resignation is still a resignation? I guess, in the end his employment ended.

Yep, my attempt to be appear. You got me. I will attempt to be appear better in the future.

Two things, one, the swastika actually comes in many forms. The one associated with leftist authoritarianism is clearly identifiable. The flag, up until the last ten years or so wasn’t even really talked about. It’s meaning has also shifted over the years.

The swastika was appropriated by NG and has essentially had its image warped beyond repair. You’ll still see it with significant frequency in some countries in Asia, but in pretty much all countries in the west it has very negative connotations.

This is desperation.

Not intentionally no. I understand you are upset, but you shouldn’t have difficulty understanding what I have written to you. This is simply a refusal to read what is there in lieu of what you think is there to justify your feelings.

It is indeed meaning he has the opportunity to return.

Thank you for agreeing with me that you are emotionally led and cannot hold a conversation without devolving into insults. Akston was wise to bounce.

Well, for one you just strawmanned her since that wasn’t her point.
Second, you are wrong about the flag not being talked about.
Third, its meaning has not shifted, you simply wish it did. If it had, it wouldn’t be banned from Nascar.

That was her point Lovefool. That because the symbol is so strongly associated with the regime, that claiming the different meaning to it wouldn’t matter.
I hate your name btw, I always feel like I am insulting you somehow.
Change it to LoveManiac

Yeah, but the Confederate flag has had nothing but negative connotations since its inception.

That is true as well.

I can defend multiboxing all day long without being a multiboxer. If you think that defending a racist symbol makes you a racist, then that’s something you need to work out on your own.

It is ironic given he did choose to insult me about my intelligence repeatedly. XD

I suggest anyone who doesnt know what you mean to read this page

In the Western world the swastika is synonymous with fascism, but it goes back thousands of years and has been used as a symbol of good fortune in almost every culture in the world. As more evidence emerges of its long pre-history in Europe, can this ancient sign ever shake off its evil associations?

In the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, swastika means “well-being”. The symbol has been used by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains for millennia and is commonly assumed to be an Indian sign.

Don’t be a moron is pretty easy. People act like their beliefs are super important to be heard and told and listened to. You most likely have a garbage uninformed theory about something, and no one cares. The question isn’t should you be fired. it’s why do you feel it necessary to say it in the first place.

Anymore you can just be fired for sharing a difference of opinion, it is ridiculous.

No, it’s correct.

I complain that you are having issues understanding what I’m writing and that you aren’t reading anything that I’m posting… so your response is “You refuse to read what is there”, “you shouldn’t have difficulty understanding what I have written”. OK champ. Do you often repeat the things you hear, or is it just always?

I don’t know what world you think that would happen in.

Yep

Well, first, give actual examples otherwise you’re just making things up as you go.
Second, let’s get over step one then we’ll worry about step two.

God, you’re so sensitive. You’re a conservative? Really?

I think a FAE big enough to disrupt a tornado would devastate square miles of land, unless you could have it do an atmospheric burst somehow. Hmmm

First I said Left in general it was not directed at you. That being said,

Is a left leaning ideology. Right leaning people believe everyone has choices and their life is made up of those choices. Sure there may be things that might make it more difficult to make the correct choices, but in the end the individual makes the choices, not their history.

I am glad that in your infinite wisdom you are the arbiter of the absolute meaning of another’s words and thoughts. Nice ego.

FYI - I have no dog in this hunt. I don’t like or dislike this guy. I just hate Karens and their cancel culture. They are the new version of the Moral Majority screaming everyone is a heretic and that they are going to burn in he77.

Except that the positions are wrong in your example. In your example, I’d be calling myself a racist after supposedly defending something, that I never defended.

Would love if a lot of forumers learned how to read, or read better. I’d settle for either one.

“Don’t post anything personal online” never stopped being true, people just think it did, and that includes abrasive statements and controversial opinions.

In fact, that rule is now more true than ever. 15 years ago, the internet was kind of its own semi-independent plane of existence. That’s no longer true; the internet is now an extension of the real world.

So if you wouldn’t say it in person, don’t say it online either. Same rules apply.
