It doesn’t trigger on dispels
I don’t think demo summons have this protection. AFAIK they’re protected from dying to cleave only by being summoned with a large amount of full health
Don’t give them ideas for bomb/ignite dispel protection.
Idk would have to test, could have sworn they dont take jack for dam from cleaving
So people are just going to pretend that every game is going to play like two R1 players playing double fire mage into a demo lock team?
I can’t imagine having that many wow seasons under your belt and assuming day one is a safe time to ever say “yeah that change is fine you guys are overreacting”
Yeah this is sort of a worst case scenario. Though against two demo locks and/or a bm hunter would be even more stupid.
The question is, should this even be a thing? They could have made it so living bomb doesn’t proc on temporary pets or something to balance this 800% damage modifier.
Two demo locks and two bm hunters deserve it.
Don’t give them any sympathy. They have none for the people they que into.
Where did I say anything about “being fine”? I’ll wait.
You aren’t wrong. But again, I feel like people are making this out to be something you will see in every arena match.
In the post I responded to and the post right below this one I’m responding to now
I have played with LB for a while… I really hope this is a bug and I hope blizz doesn’t nerf it into the dirt worse than it was pre buff. Seems to be the trend they like to do.
Cool you can’t read. Got it.
One wonders if you would respond this childishly, were you truly confident that I’m mistaken
I am not confident, I am sure I never said anything close too
But I get it, you didn’t like that I pointed out the clip and screenshot going around was a pretty situational thing in an arena match.
I remember when people said this about sidewinders
And void ritual
And evanesce, actually
It’s pretty sad if this is true. It would mean you’re quick to anger, without being funny in raging, and there’s not even an intuitive reason
The living bomb change itself isn’t the issue, it’s a cheese build people are playing now that obviously wasn’t intended. Living bomb was garbage and needed to be adjusted, but per usual Blizzard buffs something that needs to be buffed in PvP, but fail to look at everything else like modifiers etc. So yes there is an issue, but the screen shot/clip going around is an extreme case.
So yes, it’s not “fine” nor is “everyone over reacting”. My problem is the example people are using. A better representation is the clip of Kalvish playing it going around.
they really couldve just left it alone to be a nothing ability like i currently do with divine star… they didnt need to do anything with it
Maybe, but this all boils down to nothing gets tested for PvP. Not by players and seemingly not by Blizzard before it goes live. The second problem is AOE like living bomb can be fun/good in a BG setting imo and with EVERYTHING being balanced around arena, the most likely more active and popular part of the game (causal BGs) suffers.
I think you are mistaken to expect your first post to be read as containing this declaration in full, and this is an interesting backpedal. But in and of itself I agree completely with this quote
Projecting the worst case scenario is the correct response to any large changes on their patch day. Who is served by discouraging alarmism here? The poor malnourished fire mages that refused to play either of the great specs their class offers? Even within that group, who would be bummed to see a hypothetical kneejerk reversion of this living bomb buff in particular? Nobody, I suspect
