Pyroblast is feeling a little weak. Can we get a bit of juice in it so were incentivized to use it for single target DPS and have less reason to spam aoe.
Fire relying on the talents Flame Patch, Incendiary Eruptions and Living bomb in conjunction with Flamestrike + World in flames is really bad design.
When you actually switch to a single target oriented spec and build and use pyroblast its extremely undewhelming.
guy plays with the same rdruid + whatever spec enables him to just not interact with the game outside of blinking backwards and doing 200k dps with a dot (last season outlaw this season demo)
Won’t ever change but I do miss fire being more durable and looking for setups on combust and doing serenity level damage. Was more interactive.
Frost has 2 blocks, permaslows, frostbite and big burst with ray/frost bomb
Arcane has insane mobility perma spellsteal and livelord potential with great sustained and burst.
Fire should really be high sustain and high burst spec due to lacking the defensives and utility frost/arcane have.
I think glass/flame should both get pruned and shift some more damage into direct damage/combust and a little less on ignite while leaving it ignite focused still
I’m playing single target mastery fire and absolutely cranking everyone it’s disgusting. Ignite doing 100k dps. Might be the most broken spec in the game atm for how consistent it is. I’m not particularly good at my mage either
Yeah, I am kinda sad that fire isnt exactly what it was before.
You are glass, but you aren’t absolutely smoking people like you used to and it sucks being with so little defensive and little hp and meh damage compared to the tradeoff (outside of the FS/LB spam build with lucky opponents)
Being able to get high ignite damage for sustain and higher burst damage would be nice.
I actually resubbed for cata and the mop remix lol. Can’t be bothered with retail, I’ll get the elite color for the transmog and check out. Maybe the m+ mount
