If the drop rate is 1 in 1000, then only 1 out of 1000 players got it on their first kill. You’re acting like that’s typical. It’s not.

They should just make old content stuff like this and mage tower skins available. As someone who has mage tower skins, it seems ridiculous that they wouldnt allow other players to get these skins. Its just a game, that content wasnt hard, even during ToS. Why does it seem to bother people when other players get stuff? This is just some weird perverted form of greed. This guy complaining about other people getting firecat is a major problem with the playerbase.
This game needs to make more stuff available to entice players to start playing or keep playing. Needless exclusivity just turns people off imo.
Druids should be happy about other druids getting stuff. Same team guys…

No, this is a fair mechanic in games that certain items have a limited time available for people to get them. Just because it’s a unique Druid form does not make it any more special than similar items. If people want more forms, we should get Blizzard to create more unique forms similar to what was released from the artifact weapons. If you did not get, you don’t get it. Done.
I have the fire kitty bag. And both animal mage tower skins.
Make the fire kitty available to everyone and give the ones who earned it a FoS. Idc
As someone who does NOT have these skins, I disagree. It’s not Blizz’s fault I could not play after the nighthold raid and such. Why should I get something that players had to earn?
I have ALL the artifact forms. My little pond in the druid hall looks really cute with all of them sitting there.
Regardless, I wouldn’t care if other people had them; nor care much if Blizzard keeps the forms exclusive. I’m very ambivalent about this; other people having the forms does not invalidate my achievements.

I am seeing a lot of bear/cat but 0 owlkin…how dare you.
Why can’t other players earn them like you did? Timed content is not fun. The only reason they got removed, in my opinion, is because a lot of the fights were balanced around borrowed power IE: Legiondaries. If Legiondaries did not exist I feel like mage tower would have just been scaled content.
I would LOVE to do mage tower again scaled on all my characters.

How negligent of me. I dislike moonkin form, but we should have neat variations we can earn from various raids, dungeons, or treasures.
There really isnt a solid argument other than greedy ‘but muh achieves’. Blizzard doesnt remove the ability for other classes to go farm transmogs from old raids after the expansion isnt current any more. This is literally our main form transmog.

The reason they were pushed as limited-time only type content, is because there was a content drought at the time. This was a way to push up monthly active users (MAU), forcing players to do the terrible dailies and donate to the mage tower construction.

Ive never understood this whole, i got luckier than you so you shouldnt have to never get something mentality.
Who cares? You got something with a minuscule drop rate, someone else didnt… youve had it for a long time they might get it now… its a game people sheesh its not something you get thru skill.
I honestly don’t see what the problem is with having limited time content.
This isn’t a superiority thing, I don’t relish holding something over my peers, but it’s nice to have limited stuff that you made time to get. It makes it special, everyone wants something special right?
I see a lot of you in this post and the mage tower one wants to make everyone who disagrees with you seem like a bad person, that is really sad, to be honest.
Let people have their little special thing, you can get the next one.

Because when you only get 6 skins(not color alternatives), which is the entirety of your main form, missing 1 is a huge deal.
I don’t think you would be making that argument if it wasn’t a skin people wanted, would you argue access for a skin that you never planned on using? Simply having more skins isn’t a reason to not make something special. In fact its an even better argument for it. Hopefully, they will make more so that all of those who couldn’t get the mage tower skins will be able to participate and get something that special to them as well.
There isn’t a problem with it, but completionists & envious people won’t agree. They’ll argue elitism or greed which has a little merit, but isn’t the case with most people.
I think part of the problem is a lack of opportunities for druid skins. If the devs could devote time to provide more variety some of the participation arguments might cease.
Take the fire kitty as an example. They could’ve used that same model and provided an opportunity for a Fel version in Legion. Or Blood in BFA, Shadow in Shadow Lands, etc.
Why not a Hunter like ability to acquire skins from beasts in the realm. Want a giraffe travel form, head to the Barrens. Snow Leopard Feral form, go to Dun Morogh.
As a Moonkin main, I’d love to see far more skins available since the options (Tree form too) are even less than my Feral/Guardian brothers & sisters.
