So I recently leveled fishing and obtained the find fish book. Problem is when I turn on find fish it will not stay on. It just defaults back to find treasure. It only stays on find fish for few seconds. So I did all the normal things, addons off, UI reset etc. after having no luck I submitted a ticket.
This is best part the ticket was closed in less than two hours. All that was included in the response were links to articles that had nothing to do with the problem.
Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?
Just to confirm - you disabled every single addon you have, and, using only the base WoW interface, activated the fish tracking, and it won’t stay on?
And just to be clear, you used the book after you fished it up?
Sorry to ask and I’m not trying to be insulting, but had a newcomer in newcomer chat who didn’t do that once, so I just want to be sure.
Otherwise, that is definitely ticket worthy as a bug, and your non-response response to the ticket is also not out of the ordinary from many posts on the forums. You’ll need to reopen the ticket and try again and cross your fingers (and maybe sacrifice a few gnomes) and pray to the Titans for a better response.
Has anyone found a fix for this? Did the fishing tournament today at STV and find fish wasnt working. It worked sometimes yesterday, but then not at all.
Disabled all addons and stared at a pool right in front of me, but not marked on the minimap.
