That’s a horribly designed system. I dont have any of my old azerite gear and im not paying another player for old mop gear.

This is the problem with the system. Current gear works fine in tw dungeons but not in the tower? That’s bad on blizzards part. They intentionally released a botched system to try and bring back players in a time where they desperately need the good pr and all they’ve done is anger people even more and gives those who left more justification for leaving.

u dont gotta pay another player for mop gear? u just use mark of honors lol, i kept everything i had from bfa bc it was all max ilvl and i use it for time walking every go around. if u dont like how its designed then ig dont do the mage tower?

I dont have marks of honor, nor would I waste bank or bag space on old gear that’s not relevant anymore.

The tower is overtuned and the fact my current gear is worthless in it speaks volumes of how much blizz truly hates the playerbase.

its all relevant in time walking events. if the tower is overtuned then how are people doing it? ive seen a couple of people with the book mount already. its meant to be a challenge

That still doesn’t justify the overtunning. Link random guides from random nobody’s all you want. It doesn’t justify blizzard releasing a botched system.

I plan on tackling that challenge as Unholy, so thanks for that. Don’t worry, they won’t believe you that you don’t need to twink your characters for these things… you can do them in Shadowlands gear.

People wipe a few times and get discouraged and blame something else. Human nature.

Its not meant to be a challenge actually, its meant to be a fun activity.

Old gear is not relevant unless we’re currently in the expansion it comes from. Current gear of any expansion we’re in should be more than enough for tw.

The more complaints I see with the absolute total lack of effort is astounding.

Every day I try and point people to guides, tell them you don’t need millions of gold and ridiculous items for every challenge. I’m starting to hope they don’t adjust them at all.

biceps isnt a random nobody lol and it is meant to be a challenge just like it was in legion, and gear from past xpacs are sometimes better than current gear in time walking because maybe older stuff has more procs, sockets. i dont see a wep like cut of death in shadowlands which is why ill always use it in timewalking. and azerite pieces/neck work in timewalking and we dont have anything close to being as good as that in shadowlands

Hes a random nobody. Its not like he’s some famous scientist or anything.

Ignoring him however. Again I should not have to keep half a dozen different sets of armor clogging up my bank just to be able to survive in tw. Current gear should be more than enough.

I have enough in my bank slots so clogging it up with old expansion gear is not a sound move to make.

If blizzard fixed scaling and did things right from the get go then current gear would work wonders in the tower the same way it does in random tw dungeons.

I think YOU’RE the one being hyperbolic if you believe that was the norm. Most people complaining about the gold element said 100k. Oils on my server were going for 900 and selling.
