Lol legit. I was doing Twins and my first few attempts I got him down lower than later attempts.
If this was just a challenge, I should be getting better as I relearn the mechanics.
Ymmv but yeah, if I had the proper gear I’d have a better chance.
Nah, it was probably just you doing the exact same thing and just having the procs and crits to boost your dps.
You try calling out people for hyperbole, not knowing their experience then just writing off your experience as the norm. The level of hypocrisy.

In Legion, when I was doing discipline, I wiped probably 90 times never getting the boss under ~75% health.
Then I randomly beat him on my next try. Lmao.
I deviated from the guides and targeted adds and cleaved onto the boss, making sure no fumings dropped puddles by prioritizing them first and leveraging storm bolt. Bladestorm was available for every other umbral wave, and whirlwind cleave with victory rush healing to heal through the other half. The only deviation from what I’m wearing and talented now, is I used the gronntooth war horn heirloom instead of pvp medallion. Having near 100% uptime on 10% damage bonus to demons is pretty big, but definitely not a requirement.

I love that Blizzard monitored the forums and promised fixes and came up with this as a solution.
Clearly, this is the nerf that the Mage Tower needed to make it slightly more accessible.

My evidence is my own experience as well as speaking to others who had the same experience. Its overtuned but I wouldn’t expect some 1 percenter to understand that.
Well I haven’t cleared mythic sylvanas so clearly I shouldn’t be able to complete mage tower.
Hyperbole alert.
What I have seen is a lot of people complaining after 10 wipes and immediately coming to the forums to say it’s impossible and parrot other hyperbole being spewn across the forums; only possible with TW twink gear, you must spend 80 million gold on consumables.
Lots of players just conveniently ignoring important details, including the fact that every time I make a post in one of these ridiculous threads responders completely ignore the fact I say things need tuning.
I see a lot of blaming, lots of hyperbole, and a sever lack of reflection and strategy. I get it’s a game, and some people don’t want to put any effort into it, by where should we/blizz draw the line on something that’s supposed to be challenging content.
Well then I guess I can’t do those mythic sylvanas runs because i don’t push buttons. *shrugs

My personal experience as well as speaking to others is evidence enough that its overtuned. I dont need to go some random site when every attempt i did amounted to a failure.

Also, so if everyone can complete Elwyn Forest 1-10 quests, then yes, we should all be able to get kill sylvanas mythic. It’s just filled. Same logic though.
Bottom line. Mage Tower is overtuned. By a lot. I dont have to feel obligated to spend 100k+ gold just to get 1 set.

Again I know my class well enough and I know the unholy version of Agatha is overtuned. Shadowlands gear doesn’t help me in it

Speaking as someone who attempted the arcane one when it was new and my mage was also new (so I was not good enough to clear it)… and as someone who just did the arcane one today:
The tuning for it feels exactly the same as before. A lot of players got theirs done during the Antorus patch, where it was much easier to do. So maybe they are comparing that experience to today. But the tuning for it today feels how it felt to me years ago.
I’m not saying every single one is perfect, but I am saying that I hadn’t visited these forums since it launched and did not feel any tuning differences, so it’s possible that a lot of people are misremembering or just going by hearsay.
And NO, I did not farm any gear. I went in wearing exactly what I would use at max level. I didn’t change any enchants. I didn’t even flask or potion. It felt the same to me.
no u go buy mop pvp gear fully socket and enchant it use ur azerite pieces for more main stat and hp, use heart of azeroth, and legendary cloak, and i still had my cut of death from bfa but you could always use ur artifact wep bc that gives more main stat, for talents go 2212221, cyclotronic blast is op as well and for ur other trinket use any tank trinket tbh and u should be good u might spend 5k-10k gold depending on how much scalping is going on in ur server
