Send them to Gitmo.
But if they pick and choose what community gets sent surveys they can pick and choose which surveys they send out to community and which surveys they just make a decision on and be like
But we surveyed you and this is what you want
They send it to people with minimal offenses and those they didn’t send a previous survey to. It’s a rotation so they maximize different views. You get flagged for no surveys if you post about them tho.
polling is always done in small representative samples.
First off, this is a troll response. How does this tie into gold farming? It uses a completely different currency, that requires you to participate in raids, dungeons, and quests. Gold farmers would gain nothing out of this, except a snarky remark.
fine, all 5 people with old TCG items who still play will be thrilled
In his defense, he was a bit confused about the topic at hand before I explained what the Trading Post actually was
If you’d been paying attention to anything instead of just turtling in your long held beliefs, you’d realize this is a really silly thing to say. Blizz has stated that their goals with the rerelease are to avoid the original course of the game (becoming more casual friendly and negating the need to form social groups) and to position the world of Azeroth as the main character. This “no changes” mentality you’re espousing has been dead and buried for years.
RDF limits the percieved size of the world by teleporting you to dungeons and negates the need to interact with other players by automated grouping. Trading Post encourages players to interact with the pre-endgame world and cosmetic items support the ability for people to form social groups based around more than gear progression and raiding. Even as someone who hasn’t touched retail since MoP and a short time with the garrison bc I like Farmville, I can see that the latter system is much more in line with Blizz’s stated goals than the former.
That being said, I would probably vote no on the survey if it were sent to me lol
I’d see a decent chance of them putting this in. to fix most likely gamer fade after icc. ICC is run…and I am done., goes more than a few player I’d wager.
some stuff like the jester outfit in the recent montyly update requires playing the game.
go do X dungeons, go do some pvp, etc. you know, carrot on a stick for the reward.
not saying its a bad thing. I like the system all in all. I like deterministic rewards. tell me I do something 20 times and I get 100% for sure reward I am actually happy.
A much better system then say…me going into icc retail for the 100th time for a horse mount that will not drop lol
but yeah…its when they throw in pvp for 1 achievement for the jester points total I go I see what you are doing here. They want the carebears in the bg’s to boost the numbers.
Not a huge fan of this idea. I’d love to see some new items added for classic and available through Hearthstone cards though. That’d give a modern version/feel of TCG card mounts, imo.
Instead of sending these surveys to the friends, family members, co-workers and popular wow streamers who religiously play the game ALREADY. Why not send the surveys via email to people who gave up their subscriptions as a means to reach ask, basically asking what would it take to get your business again? Also, with the 99% of all items in the trading post being transmog items (there is no transmog in classic) and the 1% being a mount, what good is that going to do anyone anyways? How about you focus on adding new zones with the same old vanilla resolution. Add new mobs and dungeons and raids with the old resolution. Add more talents to the talent trees, add more craftable items to the professions and more crafting plans. Sure, blizzard wants to add a button where someone dumps 60 bucks and then stops paying for their $15 a month sub but if you keep that person playing two years from now, you’re gonna get way more money out of them than you would the person who pays $60 and quits 2 months later. Plus, on top of that, they won’t shut up about it to their friends for the next 2 years which is free advertising. Strong business model for a month is not better than a god-like business model 2 years from now and if 2 years from now people are still playing classic, guess what? The player base wins and the developers and shareholders win. It’s a win-win scenario.
oh god why what did we do to deserve this
They already ask you why your unsubbing when you unsub. If you’ve quit, they don’t care about your opinions.
I have no problems with stuff like this, it would give people more stuff to do without having a major impact on the overall game. I just don’t understand why they can’t just give us rdf though…
