I don’t see why forum posters keep repeating this to themselves as a form of cognitive dissonance.
Like we’ve already seen all the data. The sub count is on a decline. Many of these I quit threads, do in fact, stay gone.

Adieu to you
Right. It is a fantastic game, and I would recommend anyone (independent of whether or not they are unhappy or happy with WoW) give it a try. I just wanted to point out the OPs misunderstandings of some things so if they are a big deal to him he will go into it with eyes open.
Ya I mean the company has already kind of acknowledged they’re in a bit of a tail spin right now.
People are really convinced WoW is the same WoW in 2010-2014 where a new patch drops and everyone sprints for WoW. Times changed WoW has stumbled a lot and it’s their own doing.
The biggest problem they face is the fact that it seems like 0 devs think about casual players, or acknowledge them. Meanwhile Yoshi P, who’s not a casual player too, talks about them and how to keep casual players happy.
People have been saying that since vanilla. Funnily enough, the game is still going to live, even with what’s going on now.
Played it for 2 months now nothing special.
Anyone who says WoW is going to die is an idiot. EQ is still around. This game won’t die.
But…it won’t be as popular. That’s true right now and WoW isn’t the king anymore.
Would be nice to have some of those types of things in WoW someday though. I think it’s good that players share what they enjoy from other games! It can lead to good suggestions or ideas. I think a really cool upgrade to WoW would be to add ways to earn new character cosmetics that are related to other races through rep, like new hairstyles and tattoos! That seems like a nice incentive and a goal to create for people who like to focus on something outside of the instance or gear stuff.
LMAO over 90% of the reason you are leaving is because of emotes, player customizations and cosmetics. Too funny. But hey, you do you and enjoy the frilly stuff. If that is what you prefer then absolutely do what makes things more fun for you. See you in 9.2 though.
Ah, I love it when people bury the lead.
The OP is clearly one of those people who thinks other people can’t have an opinion. He is still mad about Madeline Roux.
If FF 14 is going to be the Bastion of Right Wing Nut Jobs - I welcome their exodus from WoW.
Yeah I agree Honeypot.
I wish. That would mean my brain was big enough to manage two accounts.
Pretty sure they would get banned because their opinions on minorities, non-hetro individuals, and non-binary people would be seen as harassment.
Who Asked.
I really still don’t understand why people bother to post this stuff
Call me a cynic, but I think that portion is the crux of what he wanted to say. And the rest was filler.
I think your statement is worth less than any other comment in this thread. You should just go find one that praises WoW even though it is at one of the lowest points in its history.
Who is praising WoW atm? I’d love to see it
If you’re not return, why not? Something tells me, you’ll be back.
Wait… this is one of the 24 amazing dances???
cancels WoW
I’ll see you in FFXVIXZ as soon as I write my thesis on why I left WoW!
jesse cox the guy who hosted blizz con once and made terribly embarassing sexist comments to that actress - that embarassment?
